Lady Gaga Super Bowl Halftime Show DISCUSSION (Tonight!)

The biggest annual event in America takes place tonight cool

Will Gaga 'send a message' in the wake of recent political chaos?

One thing confirmed though: INTEL provided her with drones lol

Will she have guests?

Gaga better deliver wink biggrin

They are gonna have a full audience that will hold up signs that say Beyonce is pregnant with twins.

Looking forward to Gaga's performance. I have enjoyed all her recent performances. I saw one of her rehearsal videos and she is incorporating some of MJs Thriller music in the performance from what I saw.

I just saw this, and frankly I was quite impressed. excited clapping It was everything Madonna's halftime performance was supposed to have been but wasn't. It had spectacle, dancing, and some great singing as well. While no one will ever top Prince, this has to rank as one of the best halftime shows I've seen.

I'm glad Bey wasn't there. She gets enough play as it is. She already had her own halftime show 4 years ago and was part of Coldplay's last year. She's got the Grammys and I guess Coachella in April.

It was a great show from a theatrical point of view. I, personally, don't think her songs are very good though. I swear, sometimes I think I'm the only gay man who finds her music to be average, at best. smile

#PrayforDJT was trending on twitter. The Christians wanted us all to turn off the superbowl at halftime and pray for our president, who can only succeed with the Lord's help. falloff

I hope it's the only part of the broadcast that got over 100 million viewers.

It wasn't bad, but I wasn't blown away. The setlist was very predictable. The problem with her is all her songs sound the same so it was kind of boring.

Her costume was nothing special either.

The best moment was when she did Million Reasons at at the piano. She sounded nice on that.

Madonna's was far more interesting and creative. LAP was a real transcendent moment, Gaga's show didn't have that.

Cant perform on a TV show before the Grammies. that rule has been in stone for YEARS>>>>>>>. Thats why the AMAS where moved to late fall.

It did seem odd though she did Telephone without Beyonce. I think she could have replaced that with either Applause or Perfect Illusion to have a more balanced set list as far as albums.

I was underwhelmed by her performance. It was predictable and as someone said, all of her songs sound alike. It didn't have a defining "moment".

I really enjoyed it biggrin was it the best half-time show? nope that still belongs to Prince IMO. However its definately belongs in my Top 10 fav Super Bowl Half-Time Show list, and I liked her nod to MJ's Rock With You Outfit nod thumbs up!

SHE SLAYED!

Bad Romance is just a perfect pop song. What a classic.

Ruined it with Million Reasons. Nobody knows that song, she could've sung The Edge of Glory which is MY ALL TIME fav Gaga song.

But overall a pretty darn epic spectatle.

I still have an issue though with too much choreography and EDM songs.

Musical instruments SHOULD ALWAYS be present.

Maybe I'm just getting grumpy as I get older, but tonight's halftime show made me realize how much I've gotten tired of female perfomers dressed in some sort of leotard or bikini and boots doing syncronized dancing with 20+ dancers behind them. Beyonce, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, and other performer's shows are all starting to look the same to me. Maybe it's just me, but I think the routine has become cliche and tired.

I agree with your choices but it seems every time she performs Million Reasons she trends.

Go figure.

Lady Gaga did a great job! I am very proud of her! Her half time was way better than last years. Great vocals! Great intro, GREAT Message, Great musicianship, great acrobatics and threatrics; Great energy, This isn't the best of the best but Gaga's half time was definitly way better than last years.

No its not you. It has become a cliche trend and because they are not really uniquely talented they all look the same. HOWEVER, Lady Gaga has proven on more than one occasion that she doesn't need back up dancers to be entertaining. She is very talented without it but for the purpose of the Super Bowl, she went with dancers of course due to the spectacle of the Super Bowl.

Staying on topic, Gaga did well. But it will takes years before anyone can top Prince or Bruno Mars. My opinion of course.
