I get the talent. This is just a soundscape, not really a song. I prefer actual songs. That is one thing Prince was about. MJ too. Sure, sound futuristic. but have an actual pop structure.

No one hasn't said she hasn't proven herself, what was said is that this awful song sounds like the dog poop that's currently on the radio. Proven artists don't have to show that "they can do what you can do too"...they know how to evolve while staying true to their vision. I've always loved Missy's creativity, nothing wrong the video, but the song still sucks ass.

I know everyone is used to Missy and Timbaland inventing styles to bite off of, but I am making the distinction that it's not so bad she flipped this current trend, likely so the song might fit in some playlists.
