Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

I always loved her singing voice, she has a depth and age and experience in there that she keeps well guarded it seems. It's like when she sings people like me pay attention especially as it is rare. I remember her being so shy about her singing in interviews I would guess those feelings don't end.

That's my takeaway too. Worst song I've heard from her.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I get the talent. This is just a soundscape, not really a song. I prefer actual songs. That is one thing Prince was about. MJ too. Sure, sound futuristic. but have an actual pop structure.

My problem is the new young artists coming out copying that style.

Missy has already proven herself and is just showing she can do any style like "I can rap in 6/8 too".

It is, as always with her, an OUTSTANDING video clip. clapping

No one hasn't said she hasn't proven herself, what was said is that this awful song sounds like the dog poop that's currently on the radio. Proven artists don't have to show that "they can do what you can do too"...they know how to evolve while staying true to their vision. I've always loved Missy's creativity, nothing wrong the video, but the song still sucks ass.

I know everyone is used to Missy and Timbaland inventing styles to bite off of, but I am making the distinction that it's not so bad she flipped this current trend, likely so the song might fit in some playlists.

Timbaland and Missy are pioneers of the current trap sound as it is a result of jungle/drum bass/dubstep production style crossing over into hip hop, Missy and Tim had a hand in that sound via music evolution.

As I listened to the song,I kept waiting for a kickass beat to come in.The song is too slow and boring to my ears.

Immedialtey thought of Timbaland and Missy producing this track. Should be Aaliyah on vocals lol
