Just curious, why do yall hate MJ so much? This is the Non Prince music discussion so why can't MJ be discussed here?? Its not like there aren't any Prince fans who dont want to talk about him because I see threads that are made about MJ in the Prince section but then they are quickly locked. I know all the MJ fan club sites so no need to post but the Anti MJ agenda mentality on this site is elementary. Yall act like its 1984. Why cant you be a fan of MJ AND Prince, I don't get it. You will never see Prince hate like this on MJ sites.

What would make you automatically assume that I specifically "hate" anyone, especially MJ?

I don't own this site so I have no authority to set rules regarding where you do anything. The owners wrote the rules that MJ had a sticky to discuss whatever subjects were about MJ.

You stated that you wanted to "discuss him without restriction". Those links are to MJ forums where MJ fans can do that. Also fans of anyone else who also is a fan of anyone else can go to a fansite for that person and still go to the many MJ fansites and discuss either artists at thier specific fansites to thier heart's content.

It's sorta like eating meat. Eat meat to your heart's content...but you can't eat meat at Paisley Park. You can even eat it outside, but it would be rude and inconsiderate to continue to try to sneak meat into PP, knowing meat is only allowed outside. So, to keep those who seem not to want to follow that simple rule and confine thier meat eating to outside PP, what would you suggest?

"Can't y'all just set aside a specific area where we can eat meat?" Yup...on the designated picnic table outside. Enjoy.

"But that's not fair cuz there are other P fans who eat meat." Very true. And you can eat meat too, just in the designated areas outside, not inside PP.

I don't "hate" meat and I don't hate those who eat meat, but I do object to people who eat meat trying to bully thier way into a noted place that doesn't allow meat to be eaten outside of the designated meat eating areas. It's annoying and disrespectful, especially since away from PP's grounds there are numerous places to eat meat with other meat eaters.

See what I mean? This coould apply to anyplace in the world that dictates what is allowed within it's borders...Casual clothing & sneakers at clubs, regular shoes at bowling alleys, smoking in Federal buildings. no shirts/no shoes/no service at 7-11...

Fansites that don't want other celebs being discussed outside of thier designated areas aren't unusual. It doesn't mean those celebs shouldn't be appreciated, just not everywhere on another celebs site. It's simply polite. And I provided those links since you specifically were feeling some type of way about not being able to dicuss MJ "without restriction" so I thought that you might appreciate knowing where you could discuss MJ without restriction, just like when you want to discuss P without restrictions of area you come here, right?

Something is somewhere for everyone to discuss thier favorite celeb with like-minded individuals and no one has to feel pressured.

Of course there are MJ fan sites but if there are Prince fans who are ALSO fans of MJ (who want to talk about MJ) they should ALSO also be able to discuss and talk about MJ here without being censored (which is what has happened on this site)

Because you are always questioning why "MJ fans" are on this site. Did it ever occur to you that there are PRINCE fans here who also are fans of MJ that are posters here? I see you are a new poster so that tells me everything I need to know right there. You don't need to tell me about MJ fan sites I know all of them.

Yes, I'm new to POSTING here, but I'm not new to this site. I joined under a different name back around Emancipation then...life happened.

Anyway...Yes, I realize that fans of P may also be fans of other artists, but I never see the fans of any other artists except MJ fans attempt to take over this site, knowing that the management doesn't want that.

I never see fans of any other artist complain about not being able to "discuss without restriction".

That tells me all I need to know.

I know you already know all the places that you could post unrestricted about MJ and yet, despite objections by attempts to do that here, you continue to try to do that here. It feels as if fans who go to other fansites and do that are ignoring the simple courtesy and the simple fact that if you ike A and B but are on A's fansite, that is the focus...not B.

When so many threads commented on by P/MJ fans or MJ fans in the Main forum somehow turns into "I'm a P fan, but MJ...blahblahblah..." That's rude. But somehow it turns into "Y'all hate MJ!" No...It's simply not about MJ on a P forum. The management was generous enough to provide an area to discuss MJ and y'all still aren't satisfied.It's as if after MJ died MJ fans needed another celeb to crush on so they found themselves gravitating to thier second or third or fourth choice, P. P isn't my second choice, he's my first choice so I dunno what to tellya.

I don't "hate" MJ, I'm simply indifferent to him for maaaaaaany reasons. I have no problem with P fans also being fans of MJ...Why do MJ fans have a problem with me only being a fan of P and not being a fan of MJ? It seems to really get y'all upset.

I wish I had paid more attention...must have been really bad because I have seen things get tense and racial in the MJ thread before. For the record, I am for letting people talk..take out the offending comment or line..but keep the discussion alive...I am soooo tired of political correctness and the net police.

On the other hand when MJ died I made the decision not to get too much into the controversies around him, after all he was no more. I am still however, a big fan of his music and dance and thats what I focus on since his passing, now and going forward.
