You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Bruno Mars 24k. I always listen to the entire album. It's hard sometimes! lol

Why it's hard?

Some albums are not good all they way through or they are boring. I struggled through Bria V's album. I think a true vocalist was needed to carry that album and Bria wasn't able to carry the album.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

Childish Gambino -- "Awaken, My Love!" (2016)

Again, on a recommendation. It's interesting, but I haven't really connected with it.

It is basically P-Funk. Do you listen to Bootsy's Rubber Band et al?

That's exactly what I thought.

Fleetwood Mac - Rumors. I wanted to know what was all the rave.....found out why...cant leave it alone now

It sure is one hell of an album isn't it? All killer, no filler without a doubt.

And the last album I listened to all the way through? Hmm, I'm a non-beardy lp nerd so I mostly always listen to albums all the way through (the effort of getting an lp out). I guess it was Cheap Trick's Live at Budokan. Just before that it would have been the new one by The Sleaford Mods (bit pissed off TCR never made it to the album). And then before that it may have been Joni Mitchell.

Actually thinking about it I remember playing Pretzel Logic by Steeley Dan on Monday evening.

You Want It Darker is a beautiful album, you should take a listen. Although is a sad album especially after his passing.

My first Cohen album. I like it. A lot.

Downtown Science -- Downtown Science (1991)

Cutting edge, alternative hip-hop for its time. Criminally overlooked release from Def Jam's heyday.

For some reason, i can't listen thoughout a whole album. No matter whose album is. I got used to make playlists with diverse artists and styles, that's how i enjoy music the most.

an

Four Queens of Jazz - Ella Billie Lena and Sarah Vaughan
Survivor - Destinys Child
London Calling - The Clash
Shot of Love - Bob Dylan

I listened to them because I bought a new mini hifi system and I dragged a suitcase full of cds I basically had in storage and randomly reached in and played whatever I pulled out and I had to play them from beginning to the end. Was kind of fun - haven't done that for years music

I seem to bring this album out when the weather clears up, and then totally forget about it during winter. Listened to it twice on TUESDAY.
