Kate Bush: Before the Dawn

The other thread got locked, so let's try again.
Here's a few of my thoughts:
My first reaction: I should have bought the LP because the photos in the booklet are so small! But that was too expensive and the three parts of the show nicely fit on three CDs. And the photos give you an idea of what it looked like, but you still miss the visuals. On the other hand, this does make you listen to the music more and we have some fantastic musicians here! One of the highlights (also during the show) was the guitar solo at the end of Aerial.
I still don't really know what to think of Tawny Moon. Bertie does his best, but with Mom gone, there's just something missing. (Although she deserved a break of course.)
The weakest part, both live and on record, is the dialogue on Act 2, Watching Them Without Her. The dialogue just isn't that strong and with no music, this is a little boring. The show was very long and there were times when I was losing interest, but you don't have to listen to all CDs in a row and the album still gives an excellent idea of what it was like.

Also, in Mojo magazine (currently on sale), she says that there are no plans for a DVD.

Yes you should have, and if you still can then you should as it's now deleted with no further pressings.

I bought the cd then I was given the vinyl in a gift. It's beautiful and it sounds great.

Yeah, I'm sure you're right, Gardener, but I could get the CD at € 20 while the LP was at least €70...

sad I'm very disappointed by this. I don't know why she wouldn't release a DVD of the show. Now I'll never see it.

There is speculation that the two performances filmed had too many mistakes for Kate so that's why there will be no video release.

Too much of a perfectionist. I'd like to see them--warts and all...

It's not my job to boost the sales of Mojo magazine and I don't know if it's on sale in everybody's home town, but if you find it, buy it! It contains a long interview about the show and (almost) two pages of photos so that those who weren't there at least get an idea of what it looked like. (Edit: I just noticed I already said this in my first post, but in the mag, there's different photos and they're bigger.)
There's a question about a DVD and she says that "the CD is in a way, much more representative of being at a show than a DVD. When you're at a live show, it's the the whole experience of sitting there in an audience, you can scan the stage, choose where to look, it's completely different from film."
Although later, she throws her hounds of love a tiny little bone when she says, "there might be something at some point..."
