It didn't grab me with the first listen, but i have to say it's great to see her new direction, i like Perfect and Joanne. By the way there is a song that sounds very alike to Elton john's one.

Lady Gaga opens opens up about Joanne, the Super Bowl, touring, her role in A Star Is Born, Taylor Kinney and more in a new interview with Howard Stern.

Gaga’s promotional tour won’t let up. Following her gargantuan performances on Saturday Night Live (which pulled in huge ratings), Mother Monster dropped by The Howard Stern Show to shoot the shit. They touch on all the key points (including pussy glue), but more importantly its the familiarity the two have with each other the makes the listen so enjoyable.

At the end, Gaga sits down at the piano for an emotional performance of “Million Reasons,” which results in some tears throughout the studio.

I've been listening to this on Tidal. Not bad. Ive never actually listened to her previous albums, but I like the sound of it with few exceptions.

she really played this one well

less gimmics, more focused songs, more approachable image

i admit i was NOT feeling this album at first ( and i love the others - even artpop)

but it has really grown on me and it seems to be having 'legs'.. i mean it is still in the top 10 when most albums plummet right into oblivion after the 2nd week.

im really glad for her - she took some really hard knocks and criticism and i hope she keeps going and focuses on great songs

I am surprised how good it is. It is a grower and becomes somewhat addictive. She is talented but has always been overshadowed by her gimmicks and persona, which has caused such a backlash. I hope people actually given this one a chance. How A Million Reasons does in it's current radio launch will be a key.

This is much better than Artpop, but less engaging in risks on Brown This Way. Its a safe album but you can tell she really wanted to go the safe route and it sounds fine.

I don't like much this song, Million Reasons.

New interview in latest issue of the Italian edition of Vanity Fair.

I just think she's a wonderful artist. I rate her very highly, I'm in my mid-40's and she might be in my all time top ten acts, she's up there anyway. Considering whose site we're on, I'm surprised she doesn't get more love. She does what she wants musically. No format with her either.
