Frankly, that wouldn't surprise me a bit, and I can dig that she can get away that long with such a big secret. (Note: LaToya, during her years of being controlled by Jack Asshole-Dead-As-Fuck Gordon, said often, rather nonchalantly, that Janet was married to Rene and had been for a long while.)

Lol! Janet has been in LA(Malibu) since April. She is one celebrity that knows how to avoid the Paps and keep her business her own. I like and respect that about her.

While I'm interested to hear her music post-partum, hopefully she'll wrap up the Unbreakable Tour first. I do hope it's another year or so before we get music. The usual 2-3 years is a good span for her. She doesn't have to be Beyonce releasing a record two months after a tour is over, then going on tour three months after that. I sorta dig the downtime some artists have between records. The absence makes me anticipate the new stuff even more.

I do think she'll have some great songs about having a baby, and love, etc. I sorta wonder if she'll go the route other new celebrity moms have, and if she'll write a children's book, or do a kid's album, etc.

i respect her privacy but i cant lie i wanna see her too. a couple weeks ago a fan said she did 2 photo shoots, then on twitter gil shot down those rumors of her being on bed rest and 250lbs, he hinted ssomething was coming by saying 'just wait for it'...so maybe she did a pregnancy photo shoot.

Agreed. And if there is some photo spread, it'll be on her terms, and at the right time. She's worth almost $200M, and she married a billionaire, so she ain't hurtin' for money.

I think whenever she shows the baby, she should just put it on her social media. She promised you'd hear it from her lips first (and that's how we found out she was pregnant for sure). She could trump every magazine and paparazzi out there trying to get the photo. Get whatever picture of her in public walking around, that's fine. But the baby pic? Pffft, Instagram it just how she wants and let every other media outlet be a copycat, not an exclusive.

Regarding the weight gain: I sorta wonder how inflated those stories are. The pics of her from earlier this month do not look anywhere near 100+ pounds on her 5'4" frame. But no doubt she's put on weight during a pregnancy.

I agree with others. I doubt if Janet does a spread. Janet has never been the type to whore herself out to the media or personal marriages etc so I am sure she would be the same with her child and even more protective. Ive always liked how she has been some what reclusive and private. Other celebrities should take a page out of her book. Less is more.

Gil would have no reason to lie either. He's been her friend since The Velvet Rope Tour in 1998 (he was a mere 18-years-old on that tour). He became one of her closest friends to this day, along with Kelly & a few others. If Janet had a surrogate, why not just do that? Plenty of celebs have adopted and just said so. Bradjelina, Sandra Bullock, etc. Janet can do whatever she wants, so why hide such a ridiculous thing? "Certain media sources" are garbage. Just because someone says "Well certain media sources say..." doesn't make it legit. It means there's another cluster of festering soulless entities. As far as the faking - it's been said about everyone. It's just a salacious story with no merit. They've said it about Beyonce, Katie Holmes, Nicole Kidman, Sarah Palin, Kelly Preston (John Travolta's wife), and plenty of others. The irony is that tabloids are always saying someone's pregnant, yet they never get that right either. How many times has Jennifer Aniston been pregnant trying to snag her a man??? I mean, it's just insane. Even if she did get PG that many times, why does anyone care? Whose business is it?

Janet ain't fakin' shit. She's 50 years old, and been through this tabloid shit most of her life. To hear a new story made up about her is probably like eating a PopTart. Rather mundane and pedestrian. The stories about celebrities "pregnancy scare" or whatever aren't even interesting anymore. People are so desensitized to it, it's ...well, it's a bit like eating a PopTart.

Jackson, who is rarely photographed in public, was seen leaving the baby furniture store Back In Action wearing sneakers, dark sweatpants, a black sweater and a matching scarf and headband.

An eyewitness tells ET that Jackson arrived at the store in a chauffeured black Mercedes along with her bodyguard, her assistant and two others from her entourage. Jackson was greeted by staff, who shut the doors for her visit and seated her at a table to seemingly go over some of their merchandise. According to the eyewitness, she also strolled the store and took an interest in one of the prams.

The mother-to-be appeared in good spirits as she left the establishment with a bag of products after her 45-minute visit, and even cracked a smile as she made her way to her vehicle.

Jackson and Al Mana have a home in London, one of several homes they own around the world, but no word yet if she'll give birth there. As for when she's due, no date has been confirmed, but signs do point to November.

Last April, Jackson announced that she would be postponing her tour to start a family. "I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour," she explained in a video posted to Twitter on April 6. "Please, if you could try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.

Jackson has yet to publicly speak about her pregnancy, but La Toya Jackson offered an update on how her younger sister is doing, telling ET earlier this month that she was on bed rest. "She's resting," La Toya said. "She's doing fabulous."

Jackson's former music producer, Jimmy Jam, also told ET back in June at the BET Awards that the "Dammn Baby" singer was "doing wonderful."

"She's doing great," he added. "She's keeping cool and keeping calm."

None of that makes sense on the site.

She was in the middle of a tour. Why cancel it out of the blue, gain weight, and fake a pregnancy? A tour is big money, and the primary way artists make the bulk of their income these days (other than endorsement deals). She's going to forfeit that money to fake a pregnancy? She could have quietly had a surrogate or adopted and no one known about it until she was ready. Also, it's a great 'story' to say "she has a silicone bump from England, but with the heat she doesn't want to wear it. She's going to wait until it's cooler, like October. Hey, it's 64º in London!" WHAT?! Who's running that site, a high schooler? I've heard more plausible conspiracy theories about WTC 7.
