Madonna - Rebel Heart Tour DVD

Fans have long been wondering where the DVD is for the Rebel Heart Tour this past year. It's been a minute. But Madonna sent a screen shot of the concert on her social media, and said:

"Finally watched a rough assembly of Rebel ❤️ tour film and happy to say it should all be finished in 2 months!!🙏🏻💘💃🏻👑. Time to go to WORK!! Thanks to all my fans for being so patient 😘" -Madonna

It had been announced earlier that two shows in Sydney, Australia (March 2016) would be filmed for the DVD.

I wasn't a fan of this album, and only saw clips of the tour. I was pleasantly surprised when she performed "Take A Bow" at one of the shows. ONE of the shows. But, I'll still get the DVD, because bitch, she's Madonna.

By the way, I hate Rebel Heart as an album.

<3 Madonna! I still feel that the kickoff single for "Rebel Heart" would have been "Bitch, I"m Madonna." It would have tied in SO AWESOMELY with the whole "Rebel Heart" concept and where it featured so many BIG names in today's music market, it would have launched the PERFECT comeback (after the dismal "MDNA" album) and thrusted her right back to the top where she belongs! Thankfully, her tours as of late, have been MAJOR draws and have outsold the album itself BIG TIME, so hopefully NEXT TIME, she'll take her time and get it all rite and THEN enjoy a HUGE-selling concert with an EQUALLY AS HUGE SELLING album. I know she's STILL GOT IT in her! <3 p.s. All those leaks b4 the album release couldn't have helped either; no fault of her own.

Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

For a moment I was gonna ask if this was the tentative official artwork, but it's apparently another boot... lol

I thought the album was quite good too, with some of her best songs in awhile. Nice rebound from MDNA. I just think that each artist gets to a certain place where radio turns their back on them no matter how good the songs are. Artists in their 50s just don't get radio hits by and large. Maybe the DVD will do well and expose more people to the material!

Rebel Heart is definitely one of Madonna's strongest albums.I agree with you....veteran artists are never going to receive the type of radio airplay that they got earlier in their careers. It's a losing battle.Next time around,Madonna should just release an album but not any singles. She's got a loyal worldwide fanbase who will buy the album regardless. She doesn't need to try to play the "chart game" anymore,it's a waste of time. This applies to every veteran artist.

REBEL was great but I really am drawn to the ballads which are her best in years. Wash All Over Me, Joan of Arc, Ghostown....are my favorites. I've always loved the soft, vulnerable side of Madonna...songs like Prayer, Promise to Try, Rain, This Used to Be My Playground.....bring me to tears.

"Best Night" is aMAZING!!! Even THAT should have been a single, but I hear ya on the "Over 50" thing TOO. Very sad that ageism even exists cuz we're ALL gonna be old(er) one day. GREAT CD tho! LOVE it! <3

Tracks like the very moving Body Shop, Living for Love and Unapologetic Bitch and Holy Water make the album listeninig to. Especially Body Shop...that track is so beautifully done

Its the tracks that go overboard in production like Illuminati and Bitch im Madonna that give me MDNA teas though that I despised of.

Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

It was a perfect song to perform live i don't understand why she didn't, but i think ilike it better the other version more than the album one. Don't you think Body Shop and Best Night have a sort of melancholy vibe to them?

All these ballads are beautiful, Madonna is better to me when she makes ballads.

It's aMAZING, Soul! Nice 2cu, buddy! Been a WHILE! Yeah...just a BANGIN' joint that would have returned her 2 the upper reaches of the Pop chart. "Bitch, I'm Madonna" has all the necessary arrogance and confidence to have introduced the "Rebel Heart" album TOO on top of a slammin' soundscape with Hip-Hop embellishments and shared guest vocal cameos! Much luv 2u, my brutha! <3

Hard Candy was so dismal. I liked MDNA, especially after seeing the tour video. Live performances often give new life to songs I'm iffy on. But Rebel Heart is just rancid. My bottom three from her are Hard Candy, American Life, and Rebel Heart.

It's not cohesive, it's sonically a mess, and has no aim or purpose, remains unfocused, and frankly sounds unfinished. The leaked version of "Music" years ago sounded better as an early mix, than this album does completely mixed.

She keeps working with producers for the sake of having some 20-something's name on a record, opposed to producing a great song. No one is humming "Holy Water" or any other song on that hodge podge of crap. The songs are half-hearted attempts to be trendy, and relevant. It falls flat across the board. Madonna still has a place in music. Rebel Heart has a place in that room in Saw where that dude was chained up.

I think Rebel Heart is a strong album....a vibrant mix of fun, playful songs and songs that are more introspective and dig deeper, lyrically. The album isn't perfect but the highlights are plentiful: "Devil Pray","Wash All Over Me","Body Shop","Ghosttown","Messiah","Beautiful Scars","Inside Out","Illuminati",etc. And take a listen to the numerous demos and outtakes.....some truly amazing songs! This was a very creative, inspired era.

I agree...her ballads are so underrated.I like seeing the sad, vulnerable side of Madonna.....songs like "Bad Girl","Falling Free" and "This Used To Be My Playground".A few years ago, there was a rumor that she was gonna record an album of ballads.I wish she would do that!

speaking of "Falling Free"....that song should have been a single! It is a beautiful, haunting ballad and Madonnas'vocals are superb! Madonna herself said that she wanted this song to be a single. What a missed opportunity.

regarding the Rebel Heart tour....I think the performance of "Unapologetic Bitch" was disappointing.A song like "Beautiful Scars" should have been performed instead. That would have been a better song to conclude the show with (before the "Holiday" encore).Other than that,I can't really complain about anything else. The performance of "Holy Water" was incredible! smile a classic Madonna performance! Bold and provocative! Exactly what you expect from this "rebel".

No one mentions Living For Love, i think is a great video should have been a number one single. In the other hand the video is horrible.
