I like several of these songs, but the videos are far from great, most of them are not very creative or origina, they're just ok.

Why VEVO? Gangnam Style got them all beat, but Psy's videos are not on VEVO.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Actually, most music videos on YouTube are featured on Vevo, and since more people watch YouTube than Vevo's dedicated site or app, that would include YouTube views. I believe Vevo features most of the music videos made off the major labels, which are currently mostly controlled under Sony and Universal Music. Warner Bros. recently got into hosting their own videos on YouTube.

Because Gangnam Style makes the Macarena look like classic rock.

Good point though, this method excludes Ed Sheeran and Pharell.

Gangnam Style is much better than Macarena for me.

The fact the preview image shows a Nicki Minaj video is reason enough, why I am not going to look at the list, already I assume Ms Minaj appears several times along Gaga, Perry, Bieber, Florida, Ke$ha, various rappers, JayZ, rap dance songs like duggie and other generic crap from the past 10 years.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name
