Nelly Furtado Teases Upcoming Album With Funky Demo track!

It won't appear on her new album, slated for a November release.

I like this, but are we always going to be seeking artists out who have a "Prince" sound? sad I don't want to live like that and I can't.

I remember seeing Nelly F perform in Philly in 2001...i recall loving her sound and performance..Then she just sold out to the usual hip hop/rap scene and i lost interest

I like it. A bit reminiscent of TLC and Prince.

I´ve never been a fan of Nelly Furtado but I also never disliked her.

Her voice may not be the strongest but at least she does not oversing, and I honestly don´t care about vocal qualities if I really like a song or singer.

^ It sounds more like a TLC song to me than Prince but Nelly actually had her own sound when she first started out and I really liked it. She is not the best vocalist but she has personality when she sings.

It's alright......pretty safe retro sound of the 80s mid 90s.

Keep Calm & Listen To Prince

Yeah, I kinda liked her first few hits too, they sounded quite fresh at the time. I saw her live at a festival in 2004 and was pleasantly surprised by her performance. Then she "came back" as a standard sex kitten a few years with that Timbaland produced album and lost all her initial charm...

RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...
