New Music: Britney Spears - "Make Me"

July 2016

Britney Spears dropped her new summer jam "Make Me" on Thursday night, the lead single off her upcoming studio album, which she's been working on for over two years. The track features a guest verse from rapper G-Eazy.

I'll have to give this a listen later. I was a big Britney fan growing up and even though I only liked her first 3 albums, I'm always hoping the next one will be good. Haven't got a clue who G Eazy is but for some reason I'm thinking his (or their?) appearance on the song means it's one of those new dance songs that sound like all the rest.

I hope it's good...

Why do people always accuse her of photoshopping her body? Britney's body is banging. Period.

I'm not a fan of Britney at all, but I think this is a lot better than her recent music.

It has a slower and a mid tempo part, instead of a standard banger.

It definitely has potential, although I'm not too big on her voice.

The album cover is very basic, we could make that on paint (somebody got paid thousands for that effort) but the song is hot though! Make Me is a great track.

Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

I'm not a big Britney Spears fan but one thing I have always respected about Britney is that she doesn't take herself too seriously. She has always been down to earth and humble. I also think she is underrated in some aspects as far as her career accomplishments. During her peak years from 1999-2002, was the biggest peak by any pop star of this generation. She is also one of the best selling female artists of all time, something she is hardly recognized for. She also seems to like her privacy now that she is older. She makes her music, does her shows and goes home, respect.

The song spent one week in the Top 40 US Pop Charts. She needs to realize the fans she had are grown up and the new generation of kids have little interest in her.

Thank you, finally some true insightful opinion and not some insults about her pictures being photoshopped or how much everybody wants to fuck her. I'm a fan of hers but not to the point where I will buy her music and go to her concerts. I'm so dissapointed in pop music right now so I'm happy to see her back. She is one of the biggest pop stars ever and stars today who are supposedly huge are not as big as she was back in the day. I like her a lot because of the fact that she has never really behaved like a brat and seems to be a simple person. Her music isn't the best ever but a lot of it is some great bops!

As for the actual song, I was dissapointed when I waited all day on thursday for it to finally come out at 2 am only to be underwhelmed. But it's grown on me. I listen to it on my phone all the time now and can't wait for her new album to come out

Britney Spears has always been a talentless puppet.I never liked her.I once saw a clip of a concert performance and not only was she clearly lip-syncing,she was lip-syncing another singer's vocals! There's no excuse for that type of laziness.

.

Britney slayed that lipsync whatever of her greatest hits at the Billboard Awards this year. Could you imagine her trying to sing different songs in different keys with different lyrics so quickly? She didn't even bother to remix the songs it was like someone in the back was just hitting the forward button on a CD player. I for one don't expect her to breathe into the mic anymore let alone sing into it.

.
