Anderson Paak

Ummm ok, obviously I've been out of touch because until the BET Awards last night, I had no idea that this breath of fresh air existed. His performance was funky and exciting. Something much needed to the R&B/Hip Hop genre. I'm checking him out on Spotify right now and OMG, his album "Malibu" is a must buy!!! hammer

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

yeah I got hip to him thanks to his several features on Dr. Dre's "Compton"...He's been grinding in Cali apparently for a minute though.

Here's one of them...

Here's an accapella verse from his feature on Dr. Dre's "Animals" from "Compton".

Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

He's great, loved Malibu and can't wait for the NxWorries collaboration LP that he's doing with producer Knxwledge, think it's been completed and now we're just waiting on a release date.

I saw him at the Roots Picnic in Philly, and he was by far the best performance of the festival. So much talent. I need to get his album

If you will, so will I

His BET performance inspired me to go check out his records and sadly for me his best song was the track he did on BET. That one is great, the rest meh for the most part. Would love to hear someone really go deep with the kind of hip hop-funk fusion he demonstrated in that performance.

If you've got funk, you've got style.
