There's Fiyaah in my music

I second what Soul said this is a great album from start to finish.

Take Me To The Next Phase is a monster funk jam that you can put on

any time and the bass line will give you a crook in yo neck.

One of my fave's on the album and most underrated was Fun And Games

which I felt could have been a hit had it been released as a single.

Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

I agree,"Fun And Games" could have been a single, and it would have done extremely well.

Another favorite of mine is "Ain't Givin' Up No Love".

my second fave album from one of all time fav bands. It excels in every genre, rock, funk, midtempo and ballads. It is it's own self contained house party. And this album came just a year after the mind blowing go for your guns. WOW 😲

If you've got funk, you've got style.

Don't get me started about "Go For Your Guns"! I love "Showdown", but I might have to place "Guns" over it.

One of the Isley's slept on album is Live It Up

Not a lot of folks talk about that album when these discussions

come up. I think it's their most underrated album during their

classic period. The final track Ain't I Been Good To You is a

fine track with the way they break the song down with Ronald's

vocals wailing effortlessly back and forth with Ernie's scorching

lead guitar.

Live It Up is definitely one of their strongest albums. The title track is a funk masterpiece."Brown Eyed Girl" is great, and how about the amazing slow jam "Lover's Eve"?! WOW! There is also the cool funk of "Midnight Sky" which is reminiscent of "That Lady".

The track you mentioned,"Ain't I Been Good To You" is just mindblowing. The slowed down, bluesy part is heavenly, isn't it? music
