I'm actually not mad that she released her album as planned. I was a crying mess last week because of Prince and could barely keep it together. I was HAPPY when she released her album and mini movie because it was a welcome distraction from the sadness and tears.

And hmm, I agree with you half and the other half of me agrees with others. I find it really lazy and unemotional of her to have only posted a quote about Prince without even saying RIP or something like that. It just felt rushed and meaningless to me. But at the same time, she had already announced that her album was to drop on Saturday a week prior, how was she gonna know what was to happen on Thursday?

I agree with this entire post! I don't think he took Beyonce as seriously as some of his fans make it seem. Also, the grammy organizer talked about how they paired Prince and Beyones performance in 04 on CNN and he said that it was the Grammys idea and not Prince.... which is what I figured. I never believed he was dying to perform with her. He probably agreed to perform because he thought she was attractive and talented with potential.

Oh I actually did not know she made a quote on Prince but I still feel it could have been more and I never suggested that she should have delayed the tour but maybe push her album a week out of respect and I still feel like she could have did that. She has clout where she could have done that if she wanted too.

Also, that Grammy organizer stated that Beyonce didn't want to do the performance either. They had to talk them both into doing it. It worked out well for both of them in the end. Personally, I haven't liked Beyonce since her debut album. She could have released Lemonade, Kool-Aid, Gatorade, whatever at any point and I'd still think it was mindless drivel based on the two songs I've heard from it thus far. She needs to stop charging her fans to be her therapists and divorce Joe Camel. If he's really cheated on her as many times as her music implies, than that makes her a dumbass for staying with him and I'm not going to give her money and praise for being a damn doormat.

Agree with this entire post. If you are not praising Beyonce or calling her the greatest thing in the world, her stans think any criticism means your hating. The bolded is a legitimate reason to feel upset as a Prince fan imo and it was disrespectful.

^ THIS too. She is overrated and overexposed and people are tired of it. Prince is a legend and deserved his time to be remembered and I dont think there is anything wrong with people/prince fans expressing their disappintment of it being some what overshadowed.

Agree with post.Oh you are so right, he did say that! But this is why I never understood why people said Prince was such a big fan of her when I honestly never really felt or saw that. Usually artists who are big fans talk about them excessively? I could be wrong but I never saw the hard core admiration as some here make it seem. The whole marketing of the album is just for PR.

Hate is a very strong word to use. Hatred is when you dislike someone so much you would wish harm upon them. I never mentioned wishing any harm upon Beyonce and if I can recall correctly, no one else has either, at least not in this thread. But of course, any bad thing said about Beyonce "the deity" will be taken to extremes and will automatically make people like me seem like we're jealous and hating.

And no, not everyone here is a Prince stan, there's different levels of fanaticism. With Beyonce fans there seems to be this cult-like following. Not assuming they're all like that, but the majority of them are.
