The 1975 - The Sound

I saw Fallon last night and saw this group. The keyboards, underlying funk, falsetto singing, and killer guitar solo at the end

Google it.... It's fantastic and the snl performance is even better than the Fallon show

Love the fact that these bands pay homage to Prince

The Sound should be a monster hit record

Been a fan for 3 years. Seen them live twice - in 2013 and 2014 and seeing them for the third time next month!

New album is fantastic - different influences than any other British band - paying homage to INXS, Duran, Scritti Politti, Prince and more.

"The Sound" and "She's American" are my two faves on the new album.

My 13 year old daughter is in LOOOOVE with them; I'm digging them because they are opening her up to a lot of folks who came before...just like Prince opened me up to James Brown, Sly, The Beatles. There is still hope for music...

Make it so, Number One...

I have to admit, I ony discovered them on SNL a few months ago, but instantly fell for them. What a fun sound! I love that song bands are pulling an 80s feel back into music, but in a fresh new way. Bruno Mars has his moments of it, but Sneaky Sound System, Confection, and Walk The Moon are ones that come to mind, too.

Yes its pulling the sound successfully that matters too.

Confection 2nd album for example is nice but falls in catchy writing that made their first album shine. Hearing samples of The 1975 new album it sounds pretty good!
