Early 80's disco records

Personally I am very fond of the early 80's, that period in time when r&b and disco music slowly became more electronic, with the use of sequenced beats and synthesizers.

This thread is meant for posting some of your favorite tracks of that time that fit this description. I will start off with this song which originates from my hometown The Hague

Those two tracks you posted sound hot but I remember the mid 80s a bit more vividly since I was simply too young to appreciate music in 1981 (the record label sticker says 1981 ....can´t read the one with the Siamese cat). Great looking records, by the way. I like all those early to mid 80s underground records. I used to own a lot of those early L.A Technohop releases but they were more into HipHop, not Disco and Funk.

As far as early to mid 80s go, I always liked Fonda Rae´s Touch Me, and stuff like that. There was a lot of that music in those days. Good times!

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
