Paul McCartney is one greedy little bitch boy.

Thank you Sir. Paul, you finally allow the internets or fuckyawebs to stream your grand, ultra-milked material. You are only worth a billion. You need more cash, it's never enough. Didn't the Beatles already earn their keep? Fuckin lil brit twit.

John Lennon, we need a zombie attack at Apple records. At least he loves animals. Vegatarian and all. Choke on your money and veggie burgers fucker. I'm stealin all of it.

All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!

I never could take George Harrison's spiritual pose too seriously given that one of his most famous songs is a complaint about how much tax he's paying. I can't quite see Buddha sympathizing much with that lament. George should've called it "Millionaire's Blues".

I think they were in the bracket paying 90% tax. Even leftys would call that a bit high lol

Buddha wouldn't even have noticed. Especially since George was writing his screed from the warm confines of a plush house (mansion?) which he owned himself at just 25 years of age. Count your blessings, George.

Harri Krishna! lol

AFAIK this isn't McCartney's doing, I think this is a last bid by Sony before ownership transfers to McCartney...

Since The Michael Jackson estate owns The Beatles catalog wouldnt the Jackson family benefit the most from the streaming-venture?

They're 50% owner, Sony owns the other half...
Sony is still seeing if they sell it back to the Jackson estate so they become 100% owner or give McCartney a chance to buy it...

Thank you for clearing that up...I thought The Jacksons owned 100% of the catalog...Why in the World would Sony consider selling their percentage to anyone when their is Mega Money to be made?

Michael MERGED the Beatles (ATV) catalog with Sony and received $90-100 million payment for that merger. Thus, now we have Sony/ATV. Not only does Michael own the Beatles catalog; but, because of the merger, he owns songs by Bruce Springsteen, Eminen, Beyoncé and HUNDREDS of other artists. It has always been a misconception that Michael only owns the Beatles songs, he owns a LOT more than that. When Michael made the statement about Mottola/Sony wanting to sabotage him because he (Michael) owned HALF of Sony, he basically wasn't lying.

It has nothing to do with McCartney, just like the PRINCE issues have nothing to do with PRINCE, they have to do with the deals they are in. PRINCE cannot just say to WB i want my music out there everywhere I want remasters I want this and that. The Purple Rain re-issue didnt happen because of WB not because of Prince as most think. As for McCartney he does have a say in some of the affairs but so does Lennon/Ono which has stopped some things to, if they don't agree on something then it doesnt happen.

Personally I am tired of hearing the cry babies for streaming cause it does NOT lead to sales or even an interest in the artists, its just free shit. Most streaming outlets and most streaming of early album releases leads to illegal downloads, thats just FACT. So i am not worried about McCartney or Beyonce or ADELE not getting paid (notice how ADELE gets a pass for not streaming, and Taylor Swift is a bitch for not doing it) my concern is the 90% of artists who get about 7-10 cents a song streamed and most get less.

..LOL...Oh my Gosh...You just gave some Juicy information that most people would not know...Michael's kids can live off of that deal even if Royalties from other projects stopped rolling in...I'm amazed that Michael was in debt (alledgedly) when he should have had Big checks flowing in on a monthly basis..Maybe he was living way too large...

Yeah, Michael was Allegely broke or in debt. I never believed he was "broke". I think he probably refinanced certain projects. Ironically, Michael never filed bankruptcy. Even Donald Trump did that to reorganize his finances.

What a terrible thread.. rolleyes + lol

I wonder if the OP is jealous, since money is the big issue?

Ok I am more concerned about the music:

Sir Paul is a living legend he deserves the respect, and also The Beatles is the greatest act this world will ever come to see.

No-one beats the Beatles, their music is loved around the world, and the songwriting is just wow.

But of course there will always be "haters" who doesn't appreciate the jewels..........

The Beatles backcatalogue is incredible, but I wonder why streaming though..

I prefer to listen to this band, the biggest band on the planet, ever... on vinyl........ thats the ultimate music experience, imo....... worship music

Paul McCartney is NOT a greedy little bitch boy. How could he be if he allowed the late Michael Jackson to outbid his cheap ass for The Beatles' entire publishing catalog back in the 1980's?

Just say 2freaky! lol

Keep in mind that only Prince I, Paris, & Blanket are members of the Michael Jackson estate, NOT the The Jacksons as a whole family. neutral

Katherine gets a percentage of everything as well...Not as much as the 3 kids but if I remember correctly she was named in Michael's most current Will along with the kids...

And if Katherine died before Blanket's 18th birthday, Miss. Diana Ross is next in line.

..LOL...Diana was named as a "legal Guardian/Trustee"..So yeah, she can lay claim to Blanket but the Lawyers would only allow approved funds from Michael's estate....Diana aint trying to raise kids at 71...She appears to be enjoying her golden years as a Mega Celeb...
