People talking about the parenting, sometimes people who raise their children sheltered does not really work either. There's the case of "preachers kids" who do the exact opposite once they grow up and move out. Teens often get under peer pressure or rebel, no matter how the parents raise them. Whipping children doesn't neccessarily stop them from doing anything either.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Please don't blame her father. He stepped up and did all he could to save her. Bobby Brown is a class act.....I know he is hurting now. But he will be rewarded for his undying love for her. They made peace that's all that matters now.

Bobbi Kris lived in her own home, spent her own money and dared anybody to tell her who to date. The fact is she was an Adult ( a 22yr old kid to most of us, but still of legal age to live her own life). Cissy, Pat & Bobby couldnt follow her around 24/7 and we all know Bobbi Kris wasnt having any of that. We have to stop assuming things and blaming Family members when their relatives are out of control. Most families have 1 or more relatives that are "addicts" and 100% of the time 1 or more family members try to help. NONE of us are responsible for the deaths of our relatives that spiral out of control...Every Man is responsible for his own Journey, he has the option to seek help or turn it down and go another path that could lead to death...That's Life...

This is terribly sad news. I felt heartbroken when I read the headline. Do they know how she even ended up in this position yet? Was Nick Gordon involved? I wish people would stop blaming Bobby Brown for this. Poor guy must be devastated.

Are you sure he wasn't around?

Please don't take this the wrong way because I'm just clarifying but, though Bobby was no saint, he always takes a lot of heat and blame for the things the women in his life have done. We all know Whitney had a mind of her own and Bobbi, though devastated by Whitney's death, was headstrong and did what she wanted common sense be damned.

What might be a good takeaway from this is that maybe Bobby wasn't an effective parent while Whitney was alive (the arguement can be made for Whitney as well considering both abused drugs) so Bobbi wasn't having it after her mothers death?

That's really not for you to say. Only God knows why he decided to keep Bobby on his earth and take Whitney & her daughter & Mj so soon. He has a plan for Bobby. Bobby has remarried and has two new kids since divorcing Whitney. The path that Whitney & Bobbi chose was their own.

I feel the exact same way. I'm sure that we(society) can find major faults in the way Bobbi Christina was raised, and the choices that she made, but personally, im not tripping on that right now.


It's really tragic that she died at such a young age. I hope(and really do believe)that she is at peace. I also hope that Bobby Brown and Cissy Houston can eventually find some peace as well.

Oh no. Only hours after Bobbi Kristina Brown’s funeral, Bobby Brown’s wife, Alicia Etheredge, was rushed to the hospital after suffering a seizure, a new report claims.

Bobby Brown’s wife, Alicia Etheredge, 41, who gave birth to their second child together just three weeks ago, was taken to a hospital in Atlanta on Aug. 1 after suffering a seizure, according to a report. The couple had just attended the funeral of Bobby’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, who passed away on July 26.


Alicia suffered a seizure while at the hotel the family was staying at after Bobbi Kristina’s funeral,TMZ reports. She was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. When Alicia arrived to the hospital, she was reportedly able to walk inside with help. Bobby hasn’t left her side.

It’s been a tough weekend for Bobby and Alicia, and this certainly doesn’t help things. The couple paid their respects at Bobbi Kristina’s wake on July 31. The next day, her funeral was held at St. James United Methodist Church. Bobby, Alicia, Pat Houston, 55, and more members of the Houston family attended the ceremony. Celebrities like Tyler Perry, 45, and Michael Jai White, 47, were also there.

Unfortunately, drama hit the fan at the funeral. Bobby’s sister, Leolah Brown, was kicked outafter she started shouting at Pat as she prepared to speak. Tyler escorted Leolah out of the church.

Thankfully, this shocking moment didn’t ruin the funeral. The ceremony ended with a touching message from both Bobby and Bobbi Kristina’s mother, Whitney Houston. The final song played at the funeral was reportedly “Jesus Loves Me” by Whitney. In the funeral program, Bobby wrote to Bobbi Kristina, “I also will always love you,” a direct reference to Whitney’s famous song, “I Will Always Love You.” Bobbi Kristina is set to be buried beside her mother in Westfield, New Jersey on Aug. 3.

That's plain wrong. Your point of view is okay for normal people. Here we are talking about spoiled brats, whether they're adults or not. People that lost touch with reality looong ago. So sorry, but normal rules don't apply.

Everyone who knows an addict and does not try to take him/her out of the situation, is either a coward that doesn't want to lose his comfort, or an insensitive being disguising his lack of action under this kind of "own journey" speech.
Sorry, but when money flows, what's the excuse? What's the excuse when there's plenty of cash to bring the addict into rehab, or better, in a sane and (truly) friendly environment? Her entourage was probably busy snoring while playing on the XBox or something.

Fuck them, as all MJ's family.

It’s shameful when greedy people seek to profit from tragic situations.

As you know, the homegoing ceremony for Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s22-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina was interrupted on Saturday when Brown’s unstable sister, Leolah, started heckling Bobbi’s aunt Pat Houston as she spoke during the funeral in Alpharetta.

Now comes word that — despite the presence of presidential Secret Service type security — a cold-hearted individual snapped a photo of Bobbi Kristina in her casket and sold it to the highest bidder!

Since the National Enquirer routinely peddles in macabre death bed photos, we can assume the Enquirer paid the rumored $100,000 for the image.

From TMZ:

A photo of Bobbi Kristina’s body, lying in her casket, has been sold to a media outlet … and TMZ has learned the bidding soared into the six figures.

According to our sources, someone snapped a pic of BK during the viewing, which took place the day before the funeral. We’re told the winning offer topped the $100,000 mark.

Our sources say members of the Brown and Houston families are blaming each other for the pic, which was snapped despite all the precautionary measures.

As TMZ first reported, the Browns were worried the Houstons might pull this stunt, since it happened at Whitney Houston’S funeral in 2012.

This is so sad that anyone would be this heartless to do this...I bet Whitney is rolling in her grave now. At least she has Bobbi back with her in heaven now...disbelief

I know Leolah may be crazy but does anyone feel that she might be right about Pat Houston? I'm sorry but something about her doesn't seem right to me. I had heard that when Krissy was alive on machines, Pat was bitching that it was costing too much money to keep her alive and then she was the one who brought in that DR. that told them there was no hope and to pull the plug so they did (which, I know they should have) and then Pat asks for donations to her charity instead of flowers and I know charities are important, but maybe it would have been nice for Krissy to have flowers from people showing their love for her. I just feel that instead of looking at Nick Gordon, they should maybe be looking at Pat. I mean, why would Nick ever want anything to happen to Krissy? She was his ticket to $$$ - without her, he's back with his negligent mother but now that Whitney is gone, and now Krissy, from what I understand, the $$ goes to Whitney's brothers- and one is married to Pat, so now she does end up with a big chunk of money. I don't know, maybe I've read too many conspiracy theories but this does seem like something could be up.
