Your Favorite Gospel-Influenced Pop Songs

I'm a sucker for songs with a gospel feel and gospel choirs, so here are some of my picks. What are some of yours?

Ottensen

Maria's cover of Jesus What A Wonderful child actually is a gospel song, lyrics taken straight from passages of the Bible lol

That said..by gospel influenced I'm guessing we're taking stuff with choirs, inspirational lyrics that talk about love, humanity, faith, ect? Mmmm--- let's see

Diana Ross, Voice Of The Heart, US, Promo, Deleted, CD single (CD5 / 5"), Motown, QU9441, 100612

Mike (Jackson) always would have one on any of his albums, but I'm having a brain fart...it's too early in the morning lol

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

A favorite of mine would be the David Morales remix of M People's version of Itchykoo Park.
