The entire thing, every stage, is available on a four DVD set. I wonder if it would be really worth marathonning? There is no way anyone saw all of the stages sets because they played at the same time and switched broadcasts.

I can't believe it's been 30 years......I remember Phil Collins playing at Wembley, then taking the Concorde to play the same day in Philadelphia.

1985 LIVE AID: The APEX of popular music, the decline started RIGHT afterwards, with some great albums (mostly from 1986 to 1993) and a few good years (1987, 1991, 1993, 2001) masquerading (or not) the progressive decadence...

My favorite memory occurred when Led Zeppelin hit the stage. They started playing and during the first song, the telecast cut to a shot of MTV veejay Mark Goodman.

He had both fists thrust up in the air and the joy on his face was just unforgettable. I thought, "THAT is what rock and roll is all about!"
