Sinead O’Connor slams Kim Kardashian’s Rolling Stone cover: “Music has officially died”

The Irish singer-songwriter lashed out at Rolling Stone's latest cover star in an angry Facebook post

Perpetually irate person Sinead O’Connor has seized upon a new target for her outrage: Rolling Stone’s July cover star Kim Kardashian.

In an expletive-laden Facebook post earlier today, the Irish singer-songwriter lambasted Kardashian, whose presence she deemed unworthy of the vaunted music magazine.

“What is this c–t doing on the cover of Rolling Stone?” O’Connor wrote. “Music has officially died. Who knew it would be Rolling Stone that murdered it? Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh can no longer be expected to take all the blame. Bob Dylan must be f—ing horrified.”

From tearing up a picture of the pope on “SNL” in the ’90s to her more recent open letter to Miley Cyrus, O’Connor has never been shy to voice her opinions, but getting mad about Kim Kardashian on a magazine cover feels a little played out at this point. Where were you during Vogue-ghazi, Sinead?
