I like it music seems like he's getting back to the type of music he was making before "Blurred Lines"

Robin Thicke Returns To M...un' | Vibe

Robin Thicke Returns To Music With His Two-Step Friendly ‘Morning Sun’

One minute Blurred Lines was burning up the charts and totally inescapable. The next, Thicke was getting a divorce from the beautiful Paula Patton, being sued by Marvin Gaye’s family and barely moving any units of his apologetic LP Paula.

But let’s leave the past in the past, yes? Thicke is set to return to music with his eighth studio album slated for release later this year and to put everyone back in the mood, he’s just dropped his newest single “Morning Sun.” The smooth tune is an ode to his main squeeze that was suppose to be just a one-night stand but turned into something more.

Sounds like Marvin Gaye without sounding like a specific Marvin Gaye song.

Good work. It's a great sound.

nod this song feels more genuine than the music on the Blurred Lines album.I like that album, but it seemed like the type of album that his record company pressured him to make. This new song is the 'real Robin Thicke'.

I like it, but surely I can't be the only one who thinks it sounds similar to something off Marvin's I Want You album.

lol...here we go again biggrin

It's obvious that Robin is a huge fan of Marvin Gaye, but this song doesn't make me think of any specific Marvin Gaye song.It does has a Marvin Gaye "vibe",but that's it.
