Paul Anka & Odia Coates ~ (You're) Having My Baby

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

hehe, damn cheesy, but I always liked it. I think I first heard it as a "Long Distance Dedication" on Casey Kasems AT40 music

Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

This was a big hit. Here's another version

Wasn't Puff The Magic Dragon banned too? But it later wound up being a cartoon.

Yes. A moment I forgot but now its back in my memory. Thanks. lol

I never liked him (music wise), his singing, or his music. I can't stand, "I Did It My Way". I almost threw up when I heard Mr. Anka's cover of Nirvana's, "Teen Spirit". I'm sure Mr. Anaka doesn't give a rats ass about my opinon as he sits on his ocean deck in Malibu. lol

I remember several years ago,R.Kelly (with Robin Thicke) did a song called "Pregnant".I didn't listen to it,but I assumed it would be like this Paul Anka song....a man telling his lady that he's thrilled that they're having a baby and how much he loves her, etc.

Instead, the R. Kelly song has this chorus: "Girl, you make me wanna get you pregnant" lol nuts
