meshell. Saw Meshell Ndeogecello at the manchester band on the wall. Tuesday 18th. Awesome gig. Tight 4 piece band. Michelle is so cool and her bass playing is unbelievable. Time to dig the old albums out again. It's a shame Prince seems to have fallen out with Meshell overthe Warner brothers issue,this is well documented. I feel the two artists could offer each other great possibilities. Meshell mentioned in an interview that she phoned Prince to play the guitar Solo on the song Trust. It didn't happen. | |

She's my favorite artist next to Prince. Last month, I was lucky enough to find obtain about 40 bootlegs of some of her shows from 1994-2014 from someone who said he wasn't interested in her music anymore. When that package arrived it was like Christmas in April I've seen her in concert about 5 times and each show is always different. I've learned to go into her shows with no expectations and you won't be disappointed! |
