Miguel: Wildheart Album, Summer Tour

05/2015

Miguel fans won’t have to wait much longer for the follow-up to 2012’s Kaleidoscope Dream. The new album, Wildheart, will arrive in just a matter of weeks on June 30th.

Pharrell is a great producer, but he's becoming the type of producer that everybody goes to for hits.Everything on the radio will sound the same.Artists need to take more chances and work with new, edgy producers that don't work with everyone else.

Isn't that pretty much the way it's been for the past 27 or more years everyone running to the hottest producers?

Why is he fighting those Orchestra-Seat Groupie Chicks in Court? It's not their fault he thought he was a member of Cirque Du Soleil. Alll Miggy gotta do is give them $100K a piece and walk away...

He's been the producer that everybody runs to for hits since Y2K lol. His long-standing collaborators don't ask for the cookie-cutter beats and actually tackle his left-field productions. The artists seeking the quick hits usually get what they pay for.

I am sure Pharrell did not produce the bulk of Miguel's new album, because doesn't really do that except for his own label's artists.

Wildheart cover art.

“This album is Los Angeles, it’s attitude, it’s aggression, it’s sex, it’s pyschedelia, it’s lust, it’s loneliness,” he tells VH1 of the follow-up to 2012’s Kaleidoscope Dream. “It’s just more aggressive. It’s just raw. That’s why I love this album.”

The description of the sound matches the cover art. Good job! I really like that cover

duccichucka

This dude is usually good for a song or two. But I'm still waiting for an album that is cohesively
and consistently good. His most recent LP featured me skipping over tunes left and right.

That said, "Adorn" was an amazing vocal performance and this dude really can sing his arse off.
