I really like some of her 80's songs that were not big hit (the big hits such as Upside down, Muscles, Coming out....which I love) Upfront, Chain Reaction, Eatin Alive (Think MJ was on that) great songs maybe they charted on other countries.

Amazed that she still has a full head of hair and hasn't thinned out as she got older. I'd say her hair is in pretty good shape.

Unfrotunately, that isn't her hair. And I'm saying this as someone who was a big Diana fan.

I guess it happens. But 20 years ago, was that really her hair or a wig? Always thought she had some nice hair.

Why are you no longer a BIG Diana fan? Please don't tell us you bought into the Supremes multiple Reunion Drama..The woman never bad mouths anybody and she's the epitome of Class, Elegance & Grace...So what happened?

Her RCA albums were remastered and reissued last year. How did I miss that? They're on spotify.

'Chain reaction' was her biggest hit in the UK - reaching #1 - considered as an 80's cheesy classic here.

I loved the Supremes, but always though Diana was a weak singer - but definitely changed my mind when I heard this:

Give me a sweet, soothing, melodic voice over vocal gymnastics anytime (which explains why I love Jill’s, Janet’s and Amerie’s voice so much)

Diana never had the strongest voice, but when it was used right with the right production, she had some wonderful songs. I remember having an argument in the ladies' room (where they were doing lines of coke :gasp:) when I saw Mary Wilson perform at a club in the early 80s that Mary had a stronger voice than Diana--the "ladies" were having none of it--it was at the height of Diana's popularity and she could do no wrong. lol I still think that Flo and Mary were the better singers.

Hey Chain Reaction is not cheesy, todays music is. That's a nice song (I'm still waiting)

BEAUGARDE

She has such a signature voice, she may not have the strongest voice. I don't think the other girls could have pulled off what she did. I mean honestly she should be crowned the queen. She was bigger than Aretha.

I'm Still Waiting was her other number 1 single in the UK. Few Americans are familiar with either and she doesn't perform them stateside to my knowledge.

I discovered Swept Away has some great pop tunes on it but she shouldn't have covered Fontella Bass, eeek.
