heart Jill Scott.
Her voice is one of the greatest, on point as always.
Nice new sound for her production wise. Different to anything she's done before.

Is this from the album that keeps getting delayed? I hope it's better than the last album. I actually purchased it when it was first released based on the initial single but never really listened to it in it's entirety until a few months ago. I was surprised how much she talked thru most of the songs. I got rid of it at a used record store for a couple of bucks last week.

Kitbradley was the album the one with "All Cried Out" with Doug E. (not Slick Rick razz)? That one was kind of a dud, the only plus of that era for a JS fan was the Hidden Beach b-side project which kinda torpedoed the studio album as it featured that stellar "Lovely Day" cover and those classic sounds from the Who Is albums. I hope she comes back guns blazin'.

Love her! She has a striving acting career going. Saw her in a LifeTime movie, a few weeks ago called 'With this Ring'....

She's also very sweet in person.... biggrin

Gawd. I'm agreeing with KCOOL (about anything). Bwahaha. Must be the end of times. But seriously, Jill is the real deal. She hits me on the cell right now I'd marry her.

Identity

Jill's got a bad case of the blues, which will probably set the tone and theme of the new album. Seems to head in a totally unexpected direction, but I love it.
