Ameriie's New Rich Harrison-Produced "Out Loud"

Ameriie scored a smash hit with producer Rich Harrison with “1 Thing.” Many years later, she reunites with him on her new single “Out Loud,” her first new recording of the year. Check it.

10 yrs. LATER...Hmmm...Seems like sumpthin' that might have happened when she put out "Because I Love It." Ameriie, despite having put out some quality stuff over the past decade, just hasn't been able 2 duplicate the success of 2005's "1 Thing" or the "Touch" album. Plus, "Because I Love It" would most likely have been a smash had it been released in The States FIRST. I hope she comes back HARD, takes names and kicks some Korean BOOTY!!!! <3

Did she add an extra I?

.

This is late as hell and the Soundcloud about explains it: starts off big and exciting then teeters off into nonsense. Prince should try this. Priince.

.

Hopefully this teaser leads to something outstanding. Some of her and Rich's tunes are top notch (Falling, I Just Died, 1 Thing etc)

.

.

TeeeeHaaaaHoooo had me crackin up lol

I think I put my response in the wrong place! DOH! Anyway, I like it, BUT 10 years is a long time 2 wait 2 get back 2gether with an original producer whose sound may be considered "dated" by now.

Finally working with her producer again. I love me some Amerie, and this is another one of her bangers! dancing jig dancing jig dancing jig

I think she sounds better over Rich Harrison tracks than Beyonce boxed
Although there is a different energy with those two.

"Because I love it" was not held back in America because of Amerie though, it was Beyonce and her dad and Sony (same thing) being persuaded to shelve it out of fear and competition. The same thing happend with "1 thing" which was a leaked White Label vinyl 12" with no name on it first, that was given to DJ's. I know people dont think there was shady shit going on and Beyonce is all high and mighty and things like that don't go on, but they do, they always have for many artists.

As for Rich Harrison the sound is not really his creation, Amerie had a hand in alot of production from the second album on, so Rich deserves some credit but he was not the sole creator.

Her reps have confirmed she's working on an EP and recording a full-length album of all new material, which hopefully we'll get to hear in 2015.

I always could tell how "shady" Matthew K. was. It's in those deep-set, cold and cunning eyes. Oh, well...Where is he NOW (cuz o'those eyes!) :-O
