SoulAlive, if you still visit this thread--Holy Water is now one of my favorite songs off RB! It is so defiant, tongue-in-cheek, and over-the-top... That's why I love it now. lol

Hmm, looks like I will be going with Plan B for the Vegas show: Wait and get a great ticket at the last minute! lol

.

This worked out well for the last Madonna show I went to (CT in Tokyo). wink There will inevitably be people who are buying tickets now who won't be able to go.

.

Either that, or I'll decide I just can't miss the show, then pay a huge premium for a scalper ticket! razz

Can anyone find a detailed seating chart for the Las Vegas show? When I looked at the Citibank presale, they had one that showd the rows and seat numbers for the floor sections. But I didn't think to save it and now I can't find one that detailed. sad

Looks like the MGM has an interactive map where you can choose seats, but you actually have to buy tickets to engage it. I'm guessing, since I've never been there. I suggest--keep trying and see what ticket pop up. Good luck. wink

Looks like the only seats available for Vegas are the most expensive ones..figure. I would wait till the day of the show; you may be able to get really good seats that are released the last minute.

It's my favorite track on the album biggrin I've been waiting years for Madonna to do a track like this! It feels like 'Dita' from the Erotica era has returned, lol.

I was actually eyeing one of those "Platinum" tickets. But since there's no detailed seating chart, I can't tell where the seat is in relation to the stage! confused

^ I saw that on MadonnaTribe. However, this one shows the floor sections with numbers, while the floor sections in Vegas are designated with letters. nuts I wonder if the rows are labelled the same? Hopefully someday a more detailed Vegas floorplan will (re)appear!

We all know that this tour will focus heavily on Rebel Heart, but what old songs do you want to hear? I would love for Madonna to consider adding these songs to the setlist:

"Angel"

"Dress You Up"

"Causing A Commotion"

"Secret"

"Don't Tell Me"

"Live To Tell"

Some news on the Australian dates (posted on a fansite)

OK, I have some very reliable info. Apparently it's going to be Sydney and Melbourne ONLY - Allphones Arena in Sydney and Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. Some 'tour' - more like a whistlestop visit to two cities!

Expect one date in Sydney and one in Melbourne to be announced initially - with room for a few more to be added - but only in Sydney and Melbourne, she is NOT doing Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide or any other cities. Brisbane was on the table but has been scrapped - the Brisbane Entertainment Centre has been deemed not up to it. The ticket prices will be the highest this country has ever seen.

hmmm

Not even Perth? That's a long trip from the west coast over to the Sydney or Melbourne. Anyway, hope she does finally make it down there, she's long overdue!

.

Still no Asian dates? confuse

Damn, and I thought prices were high for me this time... Love Madonna but she needs to rethink these prices...IMO.

Good suggestions except for Causing a Commotion. Not too wild about that one. I know it really wasn't a hit but I've always wanted her to do Hollywood from American Life.

Hollywood would be at the top of my list, including Dress You Up and Live to Tell from SoulAlive's list.

I agree nod On previous tours, the expensive tickets ($300 or more) were only for the floor seats, close to the catwalk. But on this tour, she's got tickets in the upper sections going for that amount nuts I love Madonna, but I'm not paying that much to see her....in the upper level! She's already filthy rich...lol....

I noticed that in Vegas too...tickets above the floor level were nearly $400 (face price, before all the fees and stuff)! shrug Theoretically there are $43 nosebleed tickets, but there are currently none available on TM...

Fake. No way in hell she would play such a small venue. NO WAY AT ALL.

It's like asking MJ to play at Radio City Music Hall for his only NYC concert date.

Madonna’s ‘Rebel Heart’ Album Sees Huge Sales Increase After Jimmy Fallon Appearance

On Thursday evening, Madonna appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. She performed “Holiday” with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, which was well received. She did a satire of a comic standup routine, which people didn’t seem to realize was satire. However, the performance of her upcoming single “B*tch I’m Madonna” is the performance that sent Rebel Heart, which was out of the iTunes 200, back to No. 19 on Friday evening (it has since fallen to No. 24).

Besides gaining new life on iTunes, Rebel Heart saw a comeback on Amazon as well. Though Madonna certainly had some criticism for her Jimmy Fallon appearance, the type of gain she saw on the charts is usually only reserved for huge award show performances, not late night talk show appearances. It’s not clear how long the album will stay on the charts due to the Jimmy Fallon effect, but at least Rebel Heart has been dug up from its grave.

There is more good news for Madonna. Her new video for “Ghosttown” has received far over two million views, while the song is still making major inroads on Adult Contemporary radio. “Ghosttown” is the second single from Rebel Heart and the video has received positive reviews. Digital Review was one of the many outlets that was impressed with Madonna‘s latest video.

“Her music video was directed by long-time collaborator, Jonas Akerlund, who had previously worked with the pop queen on videos for her singles ‘Ray of Light,’ ‘Music’ and ‘American Life.’ It features Oscar-nominated actor Terrence Howard, and it has an interesting, futuristic story-line to it. Her choreography is as impressive as ever.”

Robbie Daw from Idolator was also impressed with Madonna’s “Ghosttown” video.

“I think this is actually Madge’s best music video since ‘Hung Up,’ not to mention her greatest single choice since that time period. Say what you will about Rebel Heart, but creatively, she’s more on fire in this era than she has been in a long time.”

Madonna is getting ready to prepare for her upcoming Rebel Heart Tour, which has been a major success in terms of ticket sales, even though the tour doesn’t start until August. Because of high ticket demand, secondary dates have been added in cities such as Paris, Berlin, Miami, New York City, Toronto, and Montreal. A call to Live Nation this past week reveals that additional dates may be coming soon, and Los Angeles will likely be one of the cities to receive another show. Madonna always puts on memorable shows and it will be interesting to see how she tops herself this time.

If the people keep paying these ridiculous prices for concerts, then the entertainers will continue to charge them asinine prices. Wise up and stop the madness!
