Depends on if I can get decent seats in my budget. I did last time so... wink

You can get a decent seat in the mid-price range ($100).The cool thing about SAP Center is,all the seats are basically good seats. You'll have a good view even if you're in the upper level.

I wonder if she'll add a second show like last time... hmmm

Good because I couldn't even get one on Ticket Bastard this morning... mad One thing that I do like about the Oakland arena is that you can pick your own seat on the map; you can't do that with the SAP arena. Guess I got spoiled... razz lol Back to the lottery, I guess...

This is terrible, but I don't think Madonna likes Texas very much.On her song "I Love New York",she makes a less-than-flattering reference to Texas lol

during the Re-Invention tour in 2004,I had a seat right next to the catwalk lol I'll never forget that. It's a totally different experience when you're that close to all the action.

I won't say how much I paid for that ticket boxed but I had an incredible time!

Reinvention and Drowned World were so fun, just like with this tour folks are unsure if it will be her last outing. Great memories with both shows, I hope to attend the new show (skipped S&S and MDNA).

I think she owes LiveNation one more tour after Rebel Heart under her current agreement with them. I think this will be her last full on "dance" tour though, ie. lots of fast paced dance tracks and a high energy performance from her. Can't see her still doing that when she's pushing 60, but she may prove me wrong...

I agree. She says she wants to do stand-up comedy lol a simple show where she plays guitar, then talks about each song and tell funny stories.I think she wants to do a different type of show without all the dancers and props.I too, think that 'Rebel Heart' might be her last full on "dance" tour.

That's interesting because in a lot of ways Rebel Heart is one of her least dance/club albums. It has a lot of ballads and more mid tempo type of songs with only a few bangers. So will the tour still be all out dance?

A simpler show with acoustic guitar would be amazing. I would love to see that. But at the same time it makes me said that the high energy dance thing might be coming to an end. The end of an era. I've seen all her tours since the Girlie Show and loved every one. I guess all good things have to come to an end eventually. sad

Madonna Tickets Slated To Make Rebel Heart Most Expensive Tour Of 2015

At 56 years young, Madonna is proving that age is just a number. The illustrious songstress has just releasedRebel Heart, her highly anticipated 13th studio album, and is set to embark on a subsequent tour this August. Tickets go on sale to the general public Monday, but following a pre-sale, the secondary market has already placed Madonna among music’s elite touring acts this year. In fact, if preliminary numbers hold up, the Rebel Heart Tour would be the most expensive concert tour of 2015 on the secondary market.

With the tour slated to kick off its North American leg at the end of August, the average price for Madonna tickets on TiqIQ is currently $452.33. Even if that average does drop slightly as more tickets hit the market, it is significantly more expensive than Taylor Swift’s 1989 Tour. 1989 serves as the year’s second highest-priced tour with a ticket average of $305.21. Swift’s rebranded sound on 1989 has arguably made her the biggest name in pop music but Madonna’s initial secondary ticket prices are showing that demand still exists to see her live in concert. And if secondary market tickets have any say in the matter, that demand is massive.

Even fellow iconic act Fleetwood Mac, who owned the highest-priced concert tour of 2015 back in January, is being trumped by Madonna on the secondary market. The band’s On With The Show Tour has generated an average secondary price of $298.82, making the “Like a Virgin” singer’s forthcoming North American stint 51.3% more expensive.

The demand for Madonna tickets is not surprising, considering her past two tours have finished among the top 12 highest grossing tours of all-time. Her 2008 Sticky & Sweet tour grossed $408 million, third most all-time, while 2012′s MDNA grossed over $305 million.

Madonna’s Monday ticket on-sale is also taking a unique marketing approach by incentivizing fans with a digital download of the “SUPER DELUXE” version of Rebel Heart. With each primary ticket purchased for any North American date, fans will receive the deluxe digital package of that record that includes six bonus tracks. Added fan perks seem to be gaining momentum among big-name touring acts this year. Kid Rock has done something similar for his $20 Ticket Tour, giving fans a $2 discount on his latest release First Kiss when buying tickets via Walmart, the tour’s primary sponsor.

The tour will hit some of the biggest arenas in the country, including Madison Square Garden, Barclays Center, American Airlines Arena and United Center. Each of those venues see ticket prices well above the $400 mark on average.

Madonna kicks off the Rebel Heart Tour at the American Airlines Arena in Miami on August 29. 21 U.S. and Canadian dates are scheduled through October 27, when she wraps at The Forum in Los Angeles. A Europe and U.K. leg is scheduled for 14 dates between November and December and her final tour stop will be at the SSE Hydro on December 20.

Had a Rebel Heart VIP ticket block A2 for O2 Arena (even though A2 wasn't on the arena plan!)...then Ticketmaster decided to reject my credit card. So had to settle for lower tier in the end instead, but did get two floor tickets for Birmingham.

As usual Ticketmaster was a real pain in the ass this morning, very glitchy, and quite a few fans who purchased the £15 Live Pass missed out. And of course the parasites are already sticking tickets on GetMeIn and StubHub literally a couple of hours after they went on sale....scum of the Earth! mad

I got my tickets for DC Sat. September 12! The best way to get decent seats without hassles and without paying extra to join the fanclub etc. is the Live Nation presale. All you have to do is sign up for the Live Nation mailing list and they send you a code. Check ticketmaster for the time of the presale and you are good to go!0

The Jonathan Ross Show: Madonna Special, review: 'fascinating to watch'

At 56, the Queen of Pop still has presence and charisma - and possesses far more natural beauty than unflattering paparazzi photos suggest, says Isabel Mohan

3.5 out of 5 stars
Let's talk about Sex: Jonathan Ross and Madonna Photo: Copyright (c) 2015 Rex Features

Not many stars are deemed important enough to get Jonathan Ross’s orange velvet sofa all to themselves; even big Hollywood stars find themselves jostling for space with boy band members and up and coming comedians.

.

Madonna is the exception – there might not have been nearly as much buzz around her latest album, Rebel Heart, as there was with previous works (her new single has even been rejected by Radio 1, apparently on account of her being “too old”. Ouch), but she’s still regarded as fascinating enough for a whole hour of dedicated probing from Ross.

She and Ross are a good combination – they’re almost the same age, which means he’s interviewed her at regular intervals throughout both of their careers, so there’s a little more trust and rapport than she might have with someone less established. It means he can get away with asking the trickier questions, as well as gently ribbing her. It’s fair to say she’d never put up with that from a newspaper journalist.

,

He began by asking her about her recent tumble at the Brit Awards, although this already feels like old news. Far more interesting was her admission that sometimes, despite her seemingly being untouchable, she does care what people think. “There are times when what people say does get to me,” she revealed. “People think I’m an armadillo but sometimes I’m wounded by things that people say.”

Madonna shows she's still got it. Photo: Rex

She also touched briefly on her failed marriage to Guy Ritchie, which she puts down to that old showbiz chestnut of busy careers and bad timing. These days she’s single and ready to mingle. “The right man would not be intimidated by me,” she said. “I’m kind of old-fashioned and I like it when someone else makes the first move”. Imagine making the first move on Madonna – surely even the most confident man in the world would have to nip to the loo at regular intervals to give himself a pep talk.

.

Many of her answers to Ross’s questions felt a little scripted, but she did seem to be caught slightly off-guard when asked about the current wave of somewhat clothing-phobic popstars who’ve been influenced by her success. “It's part of women’s evolution in the entertainment business,” was her slightly woolly answer. “Women are always being objectified by men, so I prefer to objectify myself”.

Even when she was talking in soundbites, she was fascinating to watch; still, at 56, possessing far more natural beauty than unflattering paparazzi photos suggest. While her two live performances weren’t hugely memorable, she still has presence and charisma – and the prospect of her doing what she bills as “sit-down comedy” in the future, in which she’ll tell funny stories over a few drinks with a live audience, sounds far more enticing than yet another album.
