. I stopped posting about MJ because the sticky format is so shit. I look in here about once every 6 months. Today is the day, hey! . End the sticky and we can have some good conversations about specific music topics again... . Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...

I hate it when someone over loads the forum with information, like Happyperson. Unless something new comes up there is really nothing to discuss at the moment.

I agree the sticky should go too but these Prince fans not having it! hahahaha

HappyPerson thank you for the MJ info that you post. I appreciate it.

Apparently, according to the wiki page on unreleased MJ material, there have been two new snippet leaks in early 2015: 1. Kick It and 2. How Am I. Anyone know anything about these? Just rumors? Google isn't being very helpful.

For his album "Invincible". In my opinion it's just too long. So how would you edit the album? This is how I'd do it: 1. Unbreakable 2. Heartbreaker 3. Invincible 4. Heaven Can Wait 5. You Rock My World 6. Speechless 7. 2000 Watts 8. Privacy 9. Xscape (original version, of course) 10. Cry 11. Blue Gangsta (original) 12. Threatened ”The people that will end up defining ‘Hate Speech Laws’ are the very people you don’t want to define the Hate Speech Laws” — Jordan B Peterson

1. Unbreakable 2. Break of Dawn 3. Heaven Can Wait 4. You Rock My World 5. Butterflies 6. Speechless 7. Whatever Happens 8. Threatened 9. Chicago (original version) 10. Xscape (Rodney version- this version is WAY better than the original) 11. Blue Gangsta (original version)
Thats a solid album right there Also it would help if Michael had some type of theme for it. Invincible doesn't really have a theme or cohesiveness. With this line up, you can definitly see that Neo Soul/R&B urban songs Michael was going for and its more cohesive imo. This could have been some type of theme. On this particular album, Michael's love songs are more mature and explicit so maybe that could have been a theme. I still think Unbreakable was an excellent album opener though, wouldn't change that.

Anybody read the book that just came out? Xscape Orgins? Talks about each song that was on the recent album. The author spoke with John Barnes and Barnes talked a little about the unreleased song in 1985 called Tomboy and how in a way it resembled Remember The Time.
There's also a version of Al Capone that hasn't been released yet and it was worked on with Roger Troutman. There's still a lot of music from the "B" team that worked in 1985 that included John Barnes and Matt Forger that hasn't been released yet... Buffalo Bill... What You Do To Me... Just to name a few songs.

These threads are a jumbled mess. Why is everything crammed into one thread? มีเพียงความว่างเปล่า 只有空虚 Dim ond gwacter 만 공허함이있다 唯一の虚しさがあります There is only the void.

^ I agree I think the sticky needs to go at this point.

After reading through this thread (which is PAINFUL because there is no central theme besides MJ), I realise many of you feel the same way. มีเพียงความว่างเปล่า 只有空虚 Dim ond gwacter 만 공허함이있다 唯一の虚しさがあります There is only the void.

Blue Gangsta (original) 12. Threatened Honestly, I'd just remove The Lost Children. Great musical craftsmanship, lousy and sappy subject matter. I read an article somewhere that said he knew how the song would be received, didn't care and released it anyway. Commendable, but it's by far the most-skipped song in his discography for me. The other songs have some sort of merit imo. MJ filler is still top-notch. *On the topic of the MJ sticky, I agree it's jumbled. I reckon Stevie Wonder is the second-most discussed artist here, and he isn't confined to one thread. Now that MJ news has slowed, I think he deserves multiple topics. [Edited 4/2/15 23:37pm]

I love this man off and always will, but I've come to accept I've moved on and don't have a clingy attachment to him anymore like before...and that I don't have to be like other fans to be called a fan. I still play him, but have no concept of how to feel the pleasure without the pain anymore when it comes to him, and it's not worth it cause I've been conditioned to it for far too long, not the reason I became a fan to begin with. And I don't even know if it's about his pain anymore as much as it was mine when the attachment became more intense than I ever remembered and coincided with life events. This is really about myself more than him, and should have always been cause I really let myself get hurt being too attached to him in the end and deserve to live a full life without dwelling now. It does. I think we should be able to freely talk about him in the non Music section without being forced to just talk about him in one thread. There are a lot of music discussions that could potentially be discussed related to his music and legacy but it can't because its confined to just this one thread. It kills the momentum of potential discussions.

why is this thread still going on? mj is not ever going to make news again. anything that comes out about him dont really have anything to do with him, its just other people's projects or lawsuits,or whatever else they say about him, let that man rest in peace.

This could be a celebration of an amazingly talented TRUE artist!!! J5 links and pics. links to RARE/little known MJ/Jacksons stuff online.. Personal Michael/Jacksons stories with pictures.. News Clippings.. ect.. MJ did more in 50 years than most successful artists do in a lifetime- some 2-3 lifetimes! IMO that alone makes him deserving of a thriving thread on Any music forum.

A really cool and fascinating article I found about MJ, the dancer.
http://en.michaeljackson.ru/michael-jackson-the-dancer-of-the-dream/ "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I thought he recorded it around 2002-2003 when there were rumours he was working on a new album. Along with Beautiful Girl, The Way You Love and We've Had Enough.

It was recorded during invincible sessions, about 99/00
