Brit Awards

Reference Morris Day and Jimmy Jam. Does Mark Ronson have an issue with Prince.

I felt the same way? How weird to mention the Time and not Prince? Has prince got face on with him for pinching abit of his sound and having a huge hit?

Certainly seems strange that he would not only claim that Prince didn't influence the track, but then go on to name check The Time.

On the radio Trever Nelson mentioned that Ronson had recieved some hassle over the single, I wonder if is from Prince wanting a piece of the action! And this was his dig. Bloody hell poor Madonna! Gone pear shaped!

omfg I nearly pissed my pants when that happened

But in all honesty I think it was planned. She has a new album coming out so by generating social media trends she's drawing attention to herself. I think it's worth embarrassing yourself if it gets your album noticed.

Wow. Worst promotion ever, you're just fucking around though. If that's the way to sell a higher number of albums I'll rather stick with AOA and PE thank you. Only on this forum would V10LETBLUES or Bartvanhemelen consider that a brilliant strategy move.

Maybe Mark Bronson actually believed that Jamie Starr produced those Time albums. But it was a glaring omission from Bronson that he didn't mention Prince for inspiring the music of "Uptown Funk".

Okay, watching it back maybe it might not have been planned.

But think about it this way, planned or not:

Madonna is now all over social media trending

She's all over the national news in my country

She's pretty much got a shit ton of free publicity about her new material just from falling on her arse.

I don't think Mr. Ronson knew what he was getting himself into.

Sure, the song's a toe-tappin' hit, but he just stole a whole lot more than he could ever get away with.

He forgot to mention many more than just Prince, and the only thing that started to jog his tiny brain was that Lionel was standing right in front of him...

That's how I felt about Kanye West... I can see why some people would think it was great but I just found it unbearable, to the point I had to swap channels...
Kudos to Madonna for finishing her performance (I think she must have been in a lot of pain), and sorry for the Minotaur who has surely lost his job by now...

I didn't feel it either. Im a bit sick of seeing huge amounts of dancers and choirs and the like . The GRAMMYS was the worsted for that this year. but IM a middle of the road living guy, so I dont think that West is trying to please me!

OMG, poor Madonna. That was horrible. Someone is getting fired.

At her age a broken hip takes forever to heal. Ask Prince.

Yea they were good, but dont you feel that you have already seen the best of them? Its just too middle of the road at the moment. I am not saying that they are not good, just not anything Mindblowing! It makes me appreciate Prince more thats all. Especially back in the day when he was dancing, singing and playing like a madman, all at once sometimes.

Damn, that sucks. That must have hurt. Im not a Madonna fan, but when I saw her at the grammys I knew it was time that she move on from these huge dance acts. We all reach an age where we can't pretend to be 21 anymore.

Change it one more time..
