People Who Only Write Love Songs.

As I've grown older I've grown tired of that. People who are known as ''crooners' i can't listen to an album of only love songs anymore. Love & Sex are the two biggest subjects in music. Which i mean... makes sense to a certain point.

But that subject gets beaten into the crowd after a few songs. I used to love Lionel Richie when i was younger. Now i can't stomach half of his hits or album. i can still listen to Can't Slow Down all the way through. But his other are a big no no!

Same with a lot of r&b and rock bands of that era. If there only thing was doing love ballads. And the whole album was nothing but love ballads. That's just so boring to hear confused

Does anyone else feel this way? or can you stomach multiple albums by an artist. Who only does love ballads?

But Dylan is very versatile in his songwriting. Not every single album was love ballads. And thank God too! lol

Yeah, just being a little stickpoke And it just goes to show you how much an influence these standards have. Marvin Gaye also made a ballad album. (Even thought it was only released after his death.)

Well, if you listen to current mainstream R&B, that's all you're going to find these days. Either ballads, or shit hop recorded at a ballad tempo. Young people traded tastes with old people as far back as the 1990s and became old before their time. It's the complete opposite of how it used to be when young folks partied and old folks slowed things down. lol

Andy is a four letter word.

YESSSS!!!!! Tell the fucking truth Andy lol

This is why i can't listen to r&b radio. Every fucking song is a ballad... or a ''baby ima make love to ya'' song. And that's too much to hear song after song.
