A Beyonce/Kanye Theory!

I'm starting to think Beyonce is in on Kanye's antics. I think she pays him to go on award shows to Intimidate other artists and insist that Beyonce wins every award. He has to be on her payroll and she is behind this. Why else would he continue to do this and she has yet to stop him.

He's on Jay-Z's payroll not Beyonce. He could care less about B, but since the guy who put him on is his wife, it all works out.

That would make sense then. One way or another they are in on it together. I'm convinced now. They said Beyonce looked horrified but she looked like she was smiling and so was Jay Z.

I think so too. Beyonce and Jay Z were laughing.

The first time...fine but its disrespectful to feel that you are entitled constantly interrupt someone when they are accepting an award confused B, J and Kanye would not want that to be done to them so why is it funny when its done to someone else?

I really think there is something weird going on between the music industry and Beyonce.

I really think there is some shady shit going down between the music industry and Beyonce. The waypeople worship her is almost mi re intense than MJ worship and n the 80s and 90s. How come no other female has had success even close to hers in the past 15 years. And no i dont think Gaga, Taylor Swift and Rihanna are exceptions. Beyonce's level of fandom seems way more intense.

I honestly think there's something weird going on between the music industry and Beyonce. How come no female artist in the past 15 years has had the same level of success as her? Yes I know Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Gaga have had success but this seems to be on another level. Its almost worst than MJ fans in the 80s and 90s.

^ MJ fans never cussed nobody out or threatened anyone's life. lol Some of us a overzealous but not mean and nasty like the Bey Hive. Beyonce is not as popular as her hype and PR would like you to believe.

I don't think her fandom is on the same level of Michael. I can write an entire essay with my reasoning but will simply leave it at that razz

However, her fanbase is a very irrational and immature bunch of people. Ironically, they act just like Beyonce: arrogant, self absorbed, superficial and bland. I do think there are some dirty things going on behind the scenes with the industry and Beyonce. There seems to be this idea that she is "the be all end all" when it comes to everything related to music and I find it a bit disturbing given her medioce output and questionable behavior. Despite these facts, the industry chooses to market her and her only.

I mean it wouldn't surprise me. Beyonce is someone whose shadiness has gotten her to where she is today. Sure she's talented and all that, but Beyonce and her father have really done a number on a lot of people along the way. I don't see why she would stop being shady now when it's gotten her so far. She's after that "Legend" title afterall.

As for Beyonce being in on Kanye's antics, probably.

It's kind of known on gossip blogs and what not that Beyonce has other people do her dirty work for her. She pretends to be so gracious, kind and classy, but she gets other people to talk shit for her. Like her sister, Solange.

It's almost as if she's paid everyone off to keep her on top. Her talent alone which i think is mediocre doesn't merrit all the pandemonium surrounding her.there's definitely something going on.

MJ fans are 100 billion times worse than Beyonce's.

I know quite a few people that worship her - she is popular, it is not only a PR machine that is putting her on top.

Well I never said she was not popular but I definitly don't think she is "as" popular or people are as interested in her as her PR makes it seems. This is actually a fact because I have receipts to show it. She has successful tours but besides that she is really not that popular outside certain demographics. I actually think Swift and Perry are more popular and have a more diverse fan base similiar with Rihanna imo. They have more number one hits and they sell more albums not Rihanna but definitly Swift.

Taylor Swift was not the first time. He did the same thing to Justice in '07.

its because beyonce is like the first internet/social media superstar. the whole weird and annoying 'stan' culture is a big part of the beyonce hype. you can get millions of fans to ban together on the internet and say whatever they want, the media is basically prisoners to what goes on online, these days people can get more info alot faster from tmz than from cnn. so you have all these magazines praise beyonce and put her on a pedastal because they see her presence on social media, its all perception. now when you start to look at beyonce's actual accomplishments they really are not that impressive, but her hype and perception is greater than reality. a great example, i think they said she has like 20 grammy now, so her fans brag about how she has more than other females but what they dont say is that she has awards in categories that didnt even exist in the past. lots of smoke and mirrors.

The thing is though, Beyonce isn't on a differnent "success level" as those other artists. She just markets herself that way. I am in college, and I meet 10x more Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga fans than Beyonce..

MJscarousal I think you hit on some good points here. Her PR team are seriously working overtime to keep this hype machine going. Kanye being the public figure thst he is, is obviously in on it but i think the more he continues to do this, it will start to negatively affect her. Or maybe not, since her fans are psycho!

I have a theory about Beyonce haters and what their high school days were probably like...

"Janet Jackson is like an 80s sitcom that's been off the air for over 25 years; you see a rerun and realize it wasn't that great..."

Its true! She was in the right place and the right time with the right attitude (destroy all that is in my path) to become the "superstar" she is today. She's about as smart as a roll of nickels but her team, starting with daddy, did the dirt it takes to get her where she is today.

.

Brands and stans also have a very interesting financial relationship, as companies do use the anonymity of the internet to promote a new payola culture for likes, comments, tweets, etc. I know for a fact that brands spend alot of that money that used to be for jobs on folks. 10-50 cents per comment, etc. make a nice full time work week and a great illusion of support.

They were like the 90s when everything wasn't an obvious, desperately insincere money/fame/power grab. Artists had roots in actual artistry and could sing without being strapped to computers. Our biggest selling rappers of now were both child stars.

.

Miley is about to break the fourth wall of porn with her new little video in the film festival, and we all know about Kanye's piss pig wife is the real artist and trailblazer there.

I liked Beyonce in my high school days (yeah I'm a youngin') then I learned how much integrity she lacks. Let's not pretend like someone disliking her is unreasonable. Unless of course you're a stan then that mentality is expected. lol

From what I understand reading the media this week, Kanye is not really all that hot on Beyonce, he is simply trying to take a stand against "white mediocrity." The guy can't even be a dickhead without invoking serious debates about the nature of race in America. That's greatness for you.

And then he stunningly admitted to not having listened to Beck's album, which means he prejudged the music solely on the race of its creator. There's a word for that.
