I think he would be a good show. Would he be solo, or who would be the guest performer(s)?

I definitely think he should be the main act. As for a supporting act. That's a very good question. This might be odd but i could see Fall Out Boy chiming in for a few mintues. Could be interesting.

I have no idea who Jack White is. Sure, I can google him but if an avid Music-lover like myself have to Google an Artist then non-music Lovers probably don't know who the guy is. My only guess is that he's probably a White Male Artist..

He would be excellent....but I'm guessing they don't want to "rock the boat" too much with these halftime shows anymore, which is why they play it safe with these artists geared toward the pre-teens. Yesterday's halftime show was the most boring that I have ever seen. bored

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Jack White for the Super Bowl seems idiotic.
You want him riding in on a gigantic bull
while surrounded by dozens of dancers with
lite up balls - Plus he will need multiple
costume changes and a rap artist plus some
geezer from the nineties to do a duet with.
Sounds horrible.
The Superbowl calls for a spectacular performance.
Do you think Jack White is that type of performer?
I get it that you love Jack White but he is
no half time show performer.

I don't remember Tom Petty or Bruce Springsteen doing those things when they performed during the Super Bowl.

I was just about to say i don't think he needs to do those things. I'm sure they can think of a creative way for his show to be spectacular without making an ass of himself. I think he would be a great artist for the half time show.

Not a big enough name.

He's awesome for sure...but it's been over a decade since "Seven Nation Army".

They were both household names when they played.

He's a great artist, but without a monster commercial album I wouldn't book him. He's not on the mainstream's radar. Whether he deserves or should be is another matter, but he isn't.

LOL yes, that's exactly what they will do. That's exactly what they are going for. They only let Lenny Kravitz play backup for some pop tart and you think that Jack White might be a possibilty. They should have let Lenny have a go at a solo performance.

The last artist on earth that the NFL would sign for the SB Halftime Performance would actually be must-see TV for all the right and wrong reasons.

Kanye West.

Actually, I think they are going to do a jam session next year, which is Super Bowl 50.

Next year is Super Bowl L aka Super Bowl 50, so I'm sure it will be an iconic musician or band doing the halftime honors. Think McCartney, Elton, Springsteen, Stones, Billy Joel, Prince? Could very well be somebody who has done it before.

I love Jack White! but i don't think that would happen. Super Bowel likes artists that have had a lot of hits. And have what could be arena pleasing anthems. Besides Seven Nation Army & Feel In Love With A Girl. I don't think Jack has stadium songs ready to go.

None of the past 3 acts have had a ton of recognizable songs either. I think the Super Bowl needs to go back to playing the old school veteran artists or add a new comer with a old school act like they use to do. Now its boring and predictable.

Really? I mean I'm not a Bruno Mars, Madonna, or Beyoncé fan. But they've had tons and tons of huge hits. And songs like "single ladies" "vogue" "locked out of heaven" were made obviously for arena stadiums lol. And isn't Madonna veteran?

All I know is that I'm tired of seeing the SB halftime show headlined by these silly girlie pop tarts. They need some kind of alpha male rock, hip hop or country act to headline next time because it's becoming too much of a Tumblr sideshow now.

Jack White would kill but he's way too cool to do something like that. And if you don't know who he is, you have been living under a rock or know nothing about music.

Sorry but you have to be mainstream and known in most homes to be the superbowl act, like it or not JACK WHITE is not a well known artist, SORRY. The put the Foo Fighters in a petition and most didnt know them and they have sold millions of albums worldwide. Most likely you are going to see a male next year and probably a more rock artist or group. Jack White is a nice thought, but it will never happen, better chance on Prince Reuniting with the Revolution, The Time and the Family and having vanity and apollonia on that too, then getting Jack White.
