It seems to be a very rare CD, isn't it? Not on Amazon, I guess it can be bought only through the Signum website? I've read the commentary on the label site and it doesn't help a lot. It may be interesting, but it's difficult to tell. How have you heard about it?

---

I'm a Kraftwerk obsessed, so I may buy it. Have you heard the Balanescu Quartet CD of string quartet Kraftwerk covers? It's an amazing record.

.

The group/project "Powerplant" is considered to be "classical music"?! Lots of strings, live instrumentation etc. VERY minimalistic! Very Free-Jazz-Like .... Btw, you can listen to samples of Electric Counterpoint or purchase it in every itunes store (except Germany!).

.

Me, I prefer/adore the electronic version of Kraftwerk much more. This here is not really my cup of "Mensch-Maschine" or "Tour De France" wink

.

No, actually I hadn't any idea of how Powerplant sounded until I've read your post. The one that's considered "classical music" is the Balanescu Quartet CD, and rightly so.
