Mötley Crüe ~ Girls Girls Girls (Tonight Show - Jan. 23, 2015)

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I think they are having fun because they never have to see each other after the tour this year.

I wouldn't bet on this really being their last tour. There's such a massive void when it comes to decent hard rock bands, I can picture them coming back for another money grab if this tour is extremely profitable ... and it probably will be.

They signed some kind of contract where they can't tour again. But the way I understand it, none of them can perform as Mötley Crüe without all 4 originals, can't have any substitute members like Journey, Duran Duran, Van Halen, or The Rolling Stones.

I think it's great they can't perform again without all 4 originals, but if they decide to tour again who's gonna sue them for breach of contract? Sounds like the purpose of the contract is exactly as you've described, to prevent the shameful misrepresentation of an iconic band name by using substitutes (ie: GNR, Skid Row, KISS, etc). Either that, or the contract is merely a gimmick.

I guess that means no John Corabi/Samantha Maloney tour. razz

True! biggrin

What do you think of Sixx:A.M.?

Damn, I didn't even realize Frank Carlton Serafino Feranna Jr. is already 56 years old. I thought he was around 50.

Yep, it's a new single. I don't know if there's going to be an album.
