Cool tune cool Always dug it.

There is still a poet among us. His writing can either be spot on and beautiful or just too much. Brilliant nonetheless.

One of Tezza's best. nod Patrice Rushen on keyboards, IIRC.

I agree with the point about his lyrics, too. He's one of those people who seems to be self-consciously quite 'wordy' and throws a lot into the pot with mixed results. But he's thoughtful enough for it to work a lot of the time - especially the way he delivers a line like the one mentioned above.

Are you sure? Other musicians are listed in the credits. confuse

What I meant was, Grover and Arturo are a part of the album.

Morris E. Day voice - "Yessssssss" Such an amazing song, just sleeping in the middle of his underrated and oft maligned Vibrator album.

"The clock is never kind when we rewind."

"Heaven is only half the distance between your soul and mine"

I love when his lyrics click. Beter to dive off a cliff and fail to fly than to stay routed to the ground forever. He can be pretentious but tell me he can't kill a lyric when he is in rare form?????

Lovely song. Great delivery. Such wasted talent. He should of been a major player!

That's funny, I thought he was? Great catalog, awesome voice. Just because he's not in the mainstream, does not mean that his talent is wasted or not a major player....

My guess is that he's still living mostly on the money he made in the late-80s and early-90s. You don't need to spend millions each year to have a nice life. I've understood that his wife isn't exactly a pauper either.
