Just Realized INXS Kind Of Rocks

Yes, I'm late to the party. I have heard their hit songs throughout the years. But idk... it never really clicked with me. I also have two of their albums on my itunes... but never really listened all the way through. But as of today... i love INXS! and i love their 80's albums.

For years i thought they were just another pop/rock group. I guess i had high standards with Australian rock bands. Cause I'm a huge fan of Midnight Oil, The Easybeats, and even some Men At Work. INXS seemed more about Mike Hutchinson than the music.

And Kick always seemed like a bootleg Joshua Tree. Boy was i wrong! group had some fucking great licks. And those choruses... wow! the sax, Mike's voice & persona. It's taken me years to ''get it'' with INXS but now i do. My years of thinking they're a bootleg U2 are now over.

It took me awhile to see that. I used to think he was all ''sex appeal'' but then i listened to more of their songs. And watched their videos as well. He could also handle a funky rock track like a beast!

Yeah they were great, even their later 90's albums are very good and vastly underrated. Check out the "Live at Wembly" concert, amazing stuff.

We're here, might as well get into it.

Absolutely love Michael Hutchence....he was soulful. Listen to Never Tear Us Apart. Love it!

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

INXS....now that has been a while.

I loved their stuff from the 80ties. Raw, edgy, funky....
