Janet's version is too sleek for its own good... Randy's original for me.

They're both really good. I'll go with Randy's because that's the one I know best and heard first, but they're practically the same track. Janet just sung over it really. Is it even in the same key?

Janet hands down. Such a pretty melody with gorgeous background vocals doesn't need distracting synthesizers in the way, and this song is probably one of her best vocals.

Janet Jackson's easily. I heard the original version first and thought it was just okay. I was quite pleased with how much an improvement Jam & Lewis made to the song.

The Jacksons. Janet sings it almost exactly like Randy.

Randy is my fav

Didn't even know Janet did it....I took a listen and it's nice but I like Randy's voice and it was such a nice surprise to have Randy in the spotlight.

ahh man I love this song so much.

Janet did an amazing job but since Randy gets no props (ever!) - I'll go with his.

There have been two previous threads about One More Chance within the last 5 years. And in both cases, my votes went to Janet.

I still stand by my decision.

Janet's version was released as a b-side to If.

Janet's. You can't be those harmonies or that production. It brings to mind taking a nice, long drive down the Pacific Coast Highway on a warm summer evening with the top down.

I'd have to go with Randy's Baby Sis on this one. The remake aged better to me. Aside from the production side, Janet's melancholic vocals on lead and the smooth background vocal harmonies adds the right touch to this otherwise decent album track. Neither is single worthy (eventhough Janet's was included as a b-side) but Janet's adds just enough nuances for me to prefer hers more.
