Faith No More is one of my favorite bands. But the original is better... cause the remake is kind of supposed to be a joke Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

For a supposed satire the faith no more is quite close to the original. The commodores perform the song with a smile while the fnm version is more of a sneer. I prefer the commodores version and feel that the original wins through Lionel's Vocals in the bridge and the latter parts of the song. There is still a lot of soul in this "easy" listening classic. | |
