Its all good Jon, the more Bruno Mars threads here the betta! I love seeing people discover him and appreciate his talents That's how I became a fan--it started last year, watching the 2013 Grammy Awards. His performance of he did with Sting, Rihanna, the Marleys is what got my attention and started me on the road to standom. In my other threads there are lots of great live performances in them!

Welcome aboard Jon Naughty Kitty is the best President we Hooligans on the Org could ever have Yeah, Bruno is an amazing performer, he's got the gift of performing like none other I have seen in a really, REALLY long time. I think I first started to notice him more after the 2012 Grammys (where he sang runaway). I was like, "Wow, this guy seems to give 100 percent into performing" and boy was I right about that (as I later found out from watching him more). At first, I was like, oh that's the guy with those catchy songs that I hear on the radio, but now I see him as a true performer, definitely a standout!

i like him however he has absolutely no edge whatsoever; nothing at all dangerous about his music..Not that it has to be however, i need edge

Yeah I can see why you think that way. I chalk some of that up to his managers over doing his management and not letting him breathe too much artistically. I have seen some random Youtube clips of him doing stuff that's not as commercial and it's pretty good. Give him a few more years and I'm sure more of the edge you're looking for will be there.

That would be awesome to see him in Vegas! He's young but I'm sure if he decided to start a Vegas residency, he'd do really well. Oh, and there was a thread about Prince/Bruno not long ago If you haven't already done so, check out Bruno's Superbowl performance on Youtube.

Yeah I remember watching him make his debut Grammy performance in 2011 with BoB and Janelle Monae and also watching his incredible performance on the Grammys in 2012, I was really impressed with him and thought: Wow this guy really knows how to perform and put on a show! But I didnt become a fan. It was just something about that 2013 Grammy performance that was just magic for me and was the beginning of me becoming a fan

Oh, you're welcome dear I remember first hearing about him around 2011 because everytime I'd go to the laundromat, one of his songs would come on, then I looked him up on Youtube and was a casual fan for a while. His 2012 Grammy performance shocked me because all of the acts to that point were totally boring. When he used the megaphone, I was like, okay this guy is DIFFERENT! This Superbowl sent me into Hoooliganville
