I would have considered going if Steve Perry returned to the band. Kinda like Chicago without Peter Cetera is a no-go for me too.

These past few times Journey came I didn't go because Steve Perry wasn't in the band but instead they had that filipino guy. Not long ago I heard Steve Perry singing, and he does not sound the same. I guess it's time to accept that even if Steve Perry did come along with the band, it would never be the same. If they come again with that other guy, I might consider going, at least they tour here a lot.

Really? Do you by any chance remember what video it was? I'd like to see it. That would be great if he could sing like before.

Thanks for posting this video missfee.

He sounded better in this video than the one I saw, maybe close to a year ago. I can tell that he's not 100% but that's okay, I understand that he (nor anyone) cannot be the same as he was before (not to mention getting older and him not being able to practice singing everyday while he had throat cancer) after what happened to him.

I would still go see him though. He was one of my faves growing up. fallinluv
