I'm taking the risk on Monday at Brooklyn Bowl. Will let ya know how it goes down.
I thought her talk show performances in the last year of "could you be loved" and "something" were epic. Hopefully she brings it like that... I'll be mentally prepared to wait though haha

Many times entertainers get back-doored by dishonest lawyers and/or agents who they trust to take care of their finances, just to get burned.
Lauren hill is not the first entertainer to get charged for tax evasion, and not not by their own fault.

Never understood the hype. The bitch had one (count it, one) album that actually wasn't all that if you put it in historical perspective - it was just the album du jour in '98/'99, the one that was popular to like. Everything she's done since is crap. And she's entitled as a motherfucker. The empress has no clothes.

See in the "real world" I can openly admit that I am the type to call out what could be called bullshit, hypocrisy, real love, true lies... Lauryn Hill will say it. It gets me and all those I know of who do the same into trouble and we're somewhat controversial. But we own our shit and she knows what we all know about her too. I guess maybe I can relate to that. I've had money problems. Been used by a man I really gave it all for. 2014 all the music we hear on the radio is allegedly made by these flawless, shooting stars. And she did have THAT album in 1999. It was not that long ago but we're all different from 1999. In a way its really ironic how the turning of the century is already ancient history. Maybe P was right and time really is a trick. Regardless to me its a beautiful thing to see this woman, with all everyone knows of her from Sister Act to the clown makeup breakdown, just bare on stage with a gang of people jamming something profound is beautiful.

Ex-Factor is my favorite Lauryn Hill sing and if she as performed it like that if I were there, I would have left.

I thought about that as well. They know the singer is crazy busy and probably doesn't have the time or knowledge to know how to sit down and review all of the documentation. Lawyers and accountants know how to get away with murder. #realtalk

Rain on your wedding day was never ironic. In fact, most of that song, catchy as it is, has nothing to do with irony. Always annoyed me, that one. lol
