Is Nas "Your Old Droog"???

Every since this new guy, Your Old Droog, has come out with his debut EP, everybody has wondered if it's just an alias of one of the illest emcees ever, Nas. Droog sounds exactly like Nas, just vocally pitched lower. Same flow, cadence, & everything. Nas has been know to alter his vocals before [anyone remember "Scarlett" from the "Streets Disciple" album???], Nas has denied having anything to do with this project lol . But the odd thing is, @ this moment, it's hard to find any real footage, pics, or anything on this Droog guy [The word droog means “friend”? So Your Old Droog means “Your old friend”???]. There is a "pic" of him out there...

Droog

Check out his EP

Here's a track from the EP That has had people buzzing

Also, when "pitch corrected" wink , it's seems quite obvious it's Nas. But hey, with all of the clones out there, I could be wrong..... lol

What are your thoughts on this???

الحيوان النادلة ((((|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|̲̅̅=̲̅̅|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|)))) ...AND THAT'S THE WAY THE "TITTY" MILKS IT!

I've been listening to Nas since 1998. I bought most of his albums since then on launch day. I don't think this is him. It's a dude trying to sound as close as he can to Nas but it ain't Nas.

It's a good effort bit there's a few bars here and there that are clumsier than anything Nas would wrote. Nas' bars are written with flawless structure, this dude's ain't.

We already have a Nas. Why would Nas make an alias for something that sounds like it is reaching for his style?

I don't even appreciate this.

I don't know how I feel about it either. But there seems to be an era of clones out there right now. Imo, Action Bronson sounds like Ghostface. I'm puzzled by some of Droogs lyrics though. He drops some suspicious bars on these songs that makes one question who he really is. Another suspicious thing I noticed is that Mass Appeal covered the EP before anybody else knew about it [Nas is in charge of Mass Appeal now, If I'm not mistaken].

I never thought of Action Bronson sounding like Ghostface! Hmm. I thought he was more of a Kool G Rap guy, but everyone has a lil' G Rap in 'em.

True. Even I do. "Ill Street Blues" changed the way I flow. I'd probably say it's one of the five most pivotal songs that contributed to my rap style.
