Nice list, but strange that you picked "Tragedy" instead of "Stayin Alive", the latter was pretty much the biggest and most popular disco song at the time..

^^Many of those are in the original list. I think the OP wanted songs not on the list. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

What some people think of as disco is really Eurodisco or Barry White and Philadelphia International style music with lush orchestration and a lot of high hat. But many people just considered any dancable music as disco. A lot of it was late 1970's R&B or funk, which is what some of the Bee Gees stuff was. Other than the title, Disco Lady technically isn't really a disco song. I've seen disco compilations with Black Betty by Ram Jam on them, and I don't know what's disco about that at all. It's like southern rock. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

One of the best disco songs is "Souvenirs" by Voyage (1978)
Look it up on youtube.....it's a sensational track.....a somber melody mixed with lush instrumentation and a relentless beat.
