A little additional information:

Pink Floyd To Release First Album In 20 Years In October, Titled 'Endless River'

The wife of Pink Floyd singer-guitarist David Gilmour says the group will be releasing its first album in two decades.

Polly Samson @PollySamson · Jul 5

Btw Pink Floyd album out in October is called "The Endless River". Based on 1994 sessions is Rick Wright's swansong and very beautiful.

Wright, Pink Floyd's keyboardist, died in 2008 of cancer.

Polly Samson tweeted the news of "The Endless River." Saturday. The group's last album, "The Division Bell," was reissued July 1 and "The Endless River" contains recordings made during recording sessions for the former, Rolling Stone reported.

"The recording did start during The Division Bell sessions (and yes, it was the side project originally titled 'The Big Spliff' that Nick Mason spoke about)," singer Durga McBroom-Hudson, who toured with Pink Floyd, said on her Facebook page.

"Which is why there are Richard Wright tracks on it. But David and Nick have gone in and done a lot more since then. It was originally to be a completely instrumental recording, but I came in last December and sang on a few tracks. David then expanded on my backing vocals and has done a lead on at least one of them. That's the song you see being worked on in the photo."

eek But sounds like its just outtakes from TDB era?

Exactly what I thought. This could be just some leftovers from the TDB album which is a very weak Pink Floyd album.

It's not like this new project gonna blow big.. It's just for the die-heard-god-only-knows-where-they-are PF fans.
