Santana - Smooth ft Rob Thomas

Who else remembers this hit ? cool It was one of the few number one hits I liked cuz it had s that electric guitar sound with latino sound mixed in, and Rob's vocals were on point.

I think Rob wrote with, with the intention of having, George Michael sing it. When Mr. Santana heard rob' demo, he wanted him to sing it himself.

Who can forget this fucking song? this and Maria Maria where EVERYWHEREEEEEEE and i mean EVERYWHERE in 1999, 2000 and even 2001. Like, they were inescapable like the plague. They played both songs at least 6 times an hour everyday for 2 years it seemed like.

I can somewhat enjoy this one now... despite it being one the most overplayed songs of my lifetime:lol:
