Mýa to release 'Sweet XVI' EP 21 April . After she dropped her WithLove EP last Valentine's, Mýa's going to give us some more music in the form of a digital only EP entitled 'Sweet XVI' (to commemorate) her 16th anniversary in the biz... I'm curious as to how it's gonna sound! WithLove was cool, but the songs were so short! .

It like it more, i have heard it, cant wait to be able to buy it, she has been doing alot though people dont know of it in the public eye, she is out there getting it done, on her own, label, studio, videos etc.. Yeah been loving this new ep alot, fave tracks for me "Superwoman" "Cherry Lips" "Unbreakable" just a really strong package. HER K.I.S.S. cd that came out on her own label also is really good, MYA gets respect for doing it on her own, her studio, she's at the board alot of the times, people can say all they want about "She is over, or washed up" blah blah blah, who cares the whole industry is washed up in that regard as far as sales and charts, i mean this is a forum for a guy that hasnt had a HIT single in almost 21 years. I came across a recent interview she did and I didn't know this but she apparently does very well with the Japanese market. I say good for her. Success where you can find it. Change it one more time.. | |

. Oh, 'Cherry Lips' has been on ro-tay-shun on my sound systems lately. That's the Mýa I know and love. Quite like the whole package, I must say. Solid EP. Add it to 'With Love' and she could have had herself a little album. But releasing her music in this format is cool, too. .
