There are rumours that Joan Jett is going to play with Nirvana, obviously the KISS fiasco, my main thing is Hall and Oates, who were so deserving so long (forget KISS tired of hearing their garbage already) the biggest selling duo of all time is finally getting respect?

I would pay money to Dave Grohl to punch Gene Simmons in the face backstage. I Know Dave is gonna say something, but if its anything like his KeyNote speech its gonna be a show stealer!

The show order is as follows:

  • Peter Asher inductions of Brian Epstein and Andrew Loog Oldham

  • Peter Gabriel induction by Chris Martin (of Coldplay) followed by performance

  • KISS induction

  • Cat Stevens induction and performance (they won't let me say who's inducting him yet, but it's damn good!)

  • Linda Ronstadt induction and tribute

  • E Street Band induction and performance (with Bruce Springsteen)

  • Hall and Oates induction and performance

  • Nirvana induction and performance with "exciting guests" (closer!)

Haha I love how Nirvana is getting the closing performance that is going to put another bug up Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley's ass, i fucking love it, and im not a big fan of Nirvana i just think Dave Grohl is a great person and a class act, and one of the last rock stars. And im not a Kiss hater at all, but all the nonsense the last year i would love if they treated KISS like they do when they induct a "blues" guy thats dead or really old, they give a two second speech about them, they stand up there picture is on the screen and done, that would be classic if KISS got that.

But whatever happens i hope it doesnt turn into a circus event, because the night isnt about them its about the fans of these artists and KISS dispespected theirs.

"We only get together once every 15 years."

People yelled "play a song" thru the Kiss speeches, but alas, no Kiss live. No KISS performance. Cat Stevens up next to be inducted by Art Garfunkel.

Thank y'all for the thread! loved Peter and his speech. Really enjoyed Questlove introducing Hall & Oates smile .

And the e street band induction sounds grand. Also good to see one of my heroes Michael Stipe giving a speech for Nirvana. Seeing as they where the alt rock Gods of the 90's. It's a good choice.

Can't wait to watch it now...
